Christmas Poinsettia’s

Good morning, hope all is well with you.  It’s Friday and that means it’s time for another creation for The Character Cafe’.  Today I’ve used the poinsettia set.  These flowers are gorgeous.  And so much fun to color.   I tried so many different ways before I decided on these.  They were so pretty, I wanted to do a really clean and simple look on this card.   This card qualifies for 2 challenges.  First is Stampavie and More, and  Charisma Cardz.  Thanks for stopping by, and have a wonderful day!

The Character Cafe’s 12 hops of Christmas Blog Hop!

Good morning, hope all is well with you.  I AM NOT so well.  My computer decided to go totally black on last night, after days of major problems.  So I did what I was told to do and did a system recovery-should have been no problem right?  NOT!!!!!  It decided to tell that I didn’t have windows at all!  So, finally did another system recovery, and all was well-so I thought-it decided to keep shutting off on me.  This was at about midnight last night!  Then this morning, I’m trying to FINALLY put this post up and I can’t get into blogger dashboard to do anything-it just tells me ERROR.  So I finally got windows live writer downloaded and here I am.   I AM SO SO SO SORRY TO ALL OF YOU, BUT ESPECIALLY TO KENDRA AND KELLY!!!!!  Ok, onto fun stuff.

Sassy Studio Release Day

Good morning, hope all is well with you.  I’m still sick, but I can’t stand being in bed anymore.  Today is release day for Sassy Studio Designs.  Here are 2 of the images being released.  I have another one in the works and will be adding it later.  The first one is Strawberry Daiquiri, isn’t she adorable!!!!  She could be used for so many things.  The second one is The Stroke of Midnight, and I LOVE this one.  This can be used in soooo many ways.  I paired it with a saying from the fairy tale collection.  Now, for the fun stuff.  We are having a blog hop, with a game to play.  Make sure you visit everyone along the way and leave a comment.  The twist or game is you have to find the hidden elf.  Whoever follows these rules and emails Jacquie at javablustamper@yahoo.com will be entered to win 3 SSD images of their choice.  Next up, we will be opening the party blog at 12 noon PST.  There you will find the limited edition blinkie, and maybe a surprise!!!   For some reason I can’t get to the party blog at the moment, but you can find a link on the SSD blog.  So make sure you visit the sassy seven to see their wonderful creations.

The Princess and the Frog

Good afternoon, hope all is well with you.  I’m feeling much better, thank you for all the well wishes.  Evidently it wasn’t the flu, just some bug.  Sassy Studio Designs has a bonus challenge for you this week.   Lindsay is a HUGE Disney fan, and in fact did a fairy tale release a couple of months ago.  Her challenge for you is to make something inspired by the movie The Princess and the Frog.  You have until Dec. 11 at midnight PST.  And the prize is amazing-9, yes I said 9 images from the fairy tale release.

So, for this fun challenge I used her princess and frog image, along with the frog-which by the way is a freebie on the SSD blog.  I also decided to do an easel card.  I’ve never done one before, it was very easy, although I did mess up my score lines a bit, so it doesn’t quite stand up like it should.   Oh well, it was fun, here is a close up of the front of it:

This next one was for the Asian group.  The image is Geisha Anya from The Greeting Farm.  I happened to get this image while it was a digi, so it was easily resized.

This one also uses a digi image from The Greeting Farm, it’s Timmy Stocking-isn’t he sooooo cute!!!

This was for the vintage category,and I’m so sorry, I don’t know where I got the image.  But it is a vintage ad for Warner’s.

Good afternoon, hope all is well with you.  I know, I know, I’m so late with this post.  But as most of you probably know, I was out of town last week on a personal matter.  And Annie, was gracious enough to let me do this when I got back.  When I saw this sketch, I wondered what the heck I was gonna do with it.  Then The Greeting Farm offered these wonderful little digi’s for a limited time, and of course I HAD to have them.  As you can see they represent Edward, Bella, and Jacob.  Aren’t they the cutest?! Rockin' Roxie-Rockin' the Pink Polka Dot Guitar!

Good morning, hope all is well with you. I've almost got my blog put back together, just one more list-yay! Today is challenge day over at Sassy Studio Designs, and the challenge for you today is: Paper Piecing! As many of you know I tried this for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I'm one of those people that always thinks things are harder than they really are. Now that I've done it, I LOVE it, and can't wait to see what else I can do. So when I saw this challenge I was very excited, and then scared again. But when I finally decided on my image, I was excited again, I knew exactly what I wanted. She just screamed out to me that she needed a pink polka dot guitar!!! I almost did her hair, but thought that was too much-heehee! So make sure you play along. A Stair Step Fold Card

Some Blogger Problems

Good morning, hope all is well with you. I don't know if anyone else is having problems, but I sure am. I changed the look of my blog, and lost a couple of list along the way-no problem just put them back up. WELL, I would if I could. Every time I try to add a blog list I get one on there and can't put any more!!!! GRRRR! I promise I'll get them back up there ASAP. So sorry for the inconvenience.
