My Beautiful Daughters

I thought you might like to see a picture of the birthday girl. Chelsea is on the left. I can't believe she is 17 already. Isn't she beautiful?!! And on the right is Ashlee, she is 14 and a doll. As you can see she is a goof ball. She found some of my ribbon, and decided to tie it around her head and then to each wrist, so she was flying around the house. We've always said she was a hippee at heart-and she is!!! She sang a song for her sister's birthday. She played on the guitar(which she doesn't know how to play) and sang a very silly song. Chelsea loved it though. They are the best of friends-thank goodness!!! Chelsea is an amazing girl, she is beautiful, smart(very smart) and the sweetest person. I love you Chelsea, Happy Birthday!!!!!!!!!!!

Chelsea's Birthday Card

Hello again, I've made this card for my DD Chelsea's 17th Birthday. She LOVES Ariel, and I got this image in a swap, and knew it was perfect for her. I used a sketch from Splitcoast's weekly sketch challenge. I think it turned out adorable, and she totally loved it. I used copics to color her in, and lots of crystal stickles-gotta love the glitter. And I used colors I don't usually use, so yeah for me!! Hope you like it. Let me know what you think.

Got Snow?

Wow! It's been awhile. I've been trying to get this posted, but once again my chaotic life got in the way. I bought this Bella because she looks just like my second daughter. Ashlee started snowboarding last winter, and LOVES it!!! I saw this one right after she learned, but put off buying it until now. I'm so glad I finally got it, she is adorable-just like Ash!!! I colored her in the same colors that Ashlee was wearing when she went boarding. The sentiment I printed on the computer. Got Snow? is something Ashlee started saying after she went. I thought is was cute, so I stole it from her. Although she didn't mind at all. Hope you like it, let me know what you think.

Trickortreatabella

Hello again! I've made another Bella card. I love getting new stamps and TRY to use them first. Although sometimes they sit there for awhile. I've been trying to make a conscience effort to use them right away. Am I the only one to do that? I hope not. So, I got this Trickortreatabella stamp and LOVE her. Isn't she adorable? I've never really made halloween cards before-not sure why-but they are fun, although I need more halloween paper. I'll have to take care of that this week. This was made for the Bella challenge on Splitcoast, challenge #43. They always have great sketches for everybody to play with. I used the cuttlebug embossing folder-Spiderweb-on the orange paper. I also used my chunky halloween glitter glue from Michael's on the purple strip across the bottom and around the edges of the card. Hope you like, let me know what you think.

Butch and Mimi

Ok, so aren't these puppies the cutest? This is one of my new Bella stamps, I'm so glad I got this one. I forgot to order on my last one. Anyway, as you guys know, I've been challenging myself to use different colors(other than pink). Even though there's a little bit of pink-can't make me totally get rid of it-I think I did pretty good. So let me know what you think. Oh this was also for the Bella Sketch Challenge #46 over on Splitcoast. Go check it out, they are alot of fun.

Ballet Sophie

OMG! I absolutely love this stamp!!! I just received it in the mail, and had to immediately play with it. This stamp was also made for a very special reason, the proceeds help a little girl with cancer. So if you go to the Hanna website you will be able to buy her as well, and who wouldn't want her. Anyway this was made for the hanna challenge on Splitcoast, when I saw this sketch, I knew it was perfect for this Sophie. Hope you like it, let me know.

Latte Hanna

Ok, so I've been trying to use different colors on my cards. I tend to get stuck using the same ones, although I have just about every color of paper, embellishments, etc. You name it I have it, and it just sits there. So the challenge I made for myself is to use colors I would not normally use. This card was made for the Hanna Challenge on Splitcoast. They have a new challenge every Friday. They are so fun. Although, I'm waiting for my new order so I can play with those stamps. Yeah!!!! Ballet Sophie is on her way. I'm so excited if you couldn't tell. So, on this card I decided to use blue and brown. I know, I know, you guys have already been using this color combo, but like I said I get stuck in my favorite colors. Anyway, I think it turned out pretty good, if I do say so myself. Let me know what you think, TFL

Hedgehog Thank You

Well it's been awhile since I've posted anything. Things can get very hectic around here very fast. Also had some computer issues-hate those!! So I made this card for a sketch challenge on Splitcoast. I love doing bigger cards because it gives me more room to work with. And I always seem to need more room. I look at some other peoples standard size card and wonder how they got all of that on there. Obviously I have some kind of problem. Oh Well!!! I've had this hedgehog set for awhile and have never used it-I think I have a problem with that too!! I'm also trying to use different colors, it seems that I tend to use the same ones all the time, pink, green, purple. I have to tell you that it was somewhat challenging, although, looking back at some other cards I've made I use these colors when I'm not using my normal ones. I guess I'll have to start doing the color challenges on Splitcoast so I can get past that. So let me know what you think, I love getting feedback.

Baby Buttercup

Hello again. Here's another card I made for the Bella Challenge on Splitcoast. This stamp is called Baby Buttercup, isn't it adorable?! This is also the first time I've gotten to use this one. I used Dew Drops on the sides, but didn't have the right color, so I colored them with my markers. Not too bad huh? Hope you like it, let me know what you think. I'll be back later with more.

Eloise

This card is for the Bella sketch challenge over on splitcoast, you should check it out. They are alot of fun, and it helps me actually get things done. This is Eloise Greengrass, isn't she adorable. This is the first time I've gotten to use her. Please let me know what you think. I always love to hear from you guys.

House Mouse Challenge

WOW!! I was so excited about this sketch challenge that I actually did 2 cards in one day. Now, for me that is a miracle. It usually takes me about 2 days to complete 1 card. I stress myself out about everything, and when it comes to cards, it's worse, because it has to be perfect. But I found this blog http://housemouse-challenge.blogspot.com/. I was so excited. I've just recently gotten into the house mouse stamps(I know I'm slow). So I traded some images with someone on splitcoast and got some adorable house mouse images. I got so into coloring them that I came up with 2 images to do cards with. Here they are!!! Aren't they cute!!! I'm very proud of myself. I didn't think it was possible to get both of them done in one day. You should definetely check out their blog. They have a challenge every monday. Thanks for looking, please let me know what you think.

My mom!!

Well, if you read my mother's blog-Garden Of Dreams-click on the right side of this blog. Anyway you will see that she says I've shamed her into actually posting something to her blog. She started her's a couple of months ago, I however just decided to do this about 2 weeks ago. Although we are very much alike, we both stress ourselves out about everything we make everything bigger and harder than it needs to be, I decided to jump right in and get started. So I guess it's actually a good thing since it got her going. And yes my girls did help me, along with a friend of theirs. I probably would not have gotten this far if it had not been for them. So thank you girls!!! But really you should see my mother and me, constantly on the phone trying to figure everything out, and pulling our hair out together. At least we have some bonding time!! So please check out her blog, I know she would love it!!

Hanna Stamps Challenge

Hello all, this post is to show you the hanna challenge for a halloween card. I LOVE Hanna Stamps. If you don't know about them, please look them up. The weekly challenge is found on Splitcoaststamper's. So, this one is a couple of weeks old, but I love Halloween, and loved this Challenge. Niki did the sketch for this one, challenge #30. Isn't Riley so cute?! I also got to use my new cuttlebug embossing folder-the spider web-Love That!!! It is so fun. I also got to use my chunky glitter glue from michael's. It has the jack-o-lantern's and bats in it. When my mom first showed me this glue, I was wondering how I was going to use it. But, now I LOVE that too. Anyway, if you haven't checked out the weekly challenges on splitcoast, you really should. They are alot of fun, and there is no time limit on when you have to have them finished. Which for me is really good, I don't do good on a time schedule. Too many chaotic things going on. So please tell me what you think.
