Good morning, hope all is well with you. Today is Friday which means Feature Friday from The Character Cafe'. We had a challenge from Piali to make a "Witches Brew". A New Sassy Studio Image

Good evening, hope all is well with you. We are having a major windstorm here! But it's all good. I have a new Sassy Studio Design image to share with you tonight. I'm not sure of her "official" name yet, but I've been calling her the snowman girl! I know, I know, not very good, but it'll do for now. I used a sketch from A Spoon Full of Sugar. It's a very simple sketch, but you can do so much with it. I did keep it very simple just because I wanted to show off the image. I colored with copics, and matted with a DCWV dp. The CS is bazzill bling, and the brown dp is from Adornit. I added a chipboard tag with some ribbon that I colored with my copics. I added 3 dew drops, and voila' it's done! Stay tuned for more sneak peeks from Sassy Studio Designs. And the new release is Sunday the 1st. Have a great evening!

Robyn’s Fetish Challenge #3

RF-stitching RF-stitching2 Good morning, hope all is well with you.  Today is the third challenge on Robyn’s Fetish Challenge blog.  Donna gave us a really hard one this week.  Well at least for me it was.  I don’t sew, I have before, but not in a long time.  And not only was our challenge for stitching, but we could not use a machine or faux stitching!!! Ok, how crazy is that?!  So what’s left you ask?  Well after much thinking, I came up with just a simple stitch around the square.  You could sew beads on, buttons, ribbon, etc.  Just let your imagination go.  I also decided to try a new type of card, it’s called a tri-fold pocket card, and you can find the tutorial Here.  It was actually very east to do, and lots of fun!  I used the ghostmoon image that can be found at the Robyn’s Fetish store.  If you’d like to play along with this fun and challenging challenge, head over to the challenge blog.  You have until 12pm EST on the 30th to get your entry in. The winner will receive 6 image of their choice.  Thanks for looking, and have a wonderful day!

Robyn's Fetish Challenge #2

Good morning, hope all is well with you. Today it's time for the second challenge at Robyn's Fetish. Our challenge to you can be found on the Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog. It is to make a halloween card with 2 patterned papers, and NO ribbon. This was so hard for me, my mind went totally blank. So needless to say my card is very simple. I just got totally stuck! I did get to use my new MS goo punch, although I need to practice a little with it. Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Our challenge for you is to make a card or project using the colors: Brown, Pink, and White-any shades of these. You can only use black to print the image. Since this is one of my fave color combos, this one came easy to me. I've been wanting to make a Christmas organizer for awhile so this was the perfect opportunity. Robyn's Fetish Blog Hop

Good evening, hope all is well with you! Tonight is the Robyn's Fetish blog hop. This is to celebrate the "Grand Opening" of Robyn's Fetish, which carries digital images and digital stickers.
You should have come here from Lisa's blog, if you didn't, please go back and start at the Challenge Blog, and go from there. Please make sure you visit everyone on the hop to see all their wonderful creations. We will be having lots of games and prizes. We are having "Find the Phrase"contest. Each DT member has a question for you to answer. You will need the first letter from each answer to make up a 2 word, 12 letter phrase. When you have the answer you can send an email to designteam@robynsfetish.com . You will then be entered in a drawing to win 10 images of your choice form the store.
So your question from me is:
Bosie is the Capital of which American State?
You can also win an image from me by leaving a comment on this post and after the party has ended, I will pick a winner.
The party will be going on for a full 24 hrs. on the Robyn's Fetish , page on SNR.
So from here you need to go to Sarabeth's blog. If you love the images that I used(like I do)make sure you visit Robyn's store.
Robyn wanted us to make something with a party theme, so I decided to do a "Princess" theme. Now, I have to tell you that my oldest daughter just turned 18, and went gaga over this stuff. She actually ended up taking it after I did the pictures. I used the carriage, princess Gina, and the cupcake images to do all of these. I used the carriage for the invitation, and one of the cupcake picks. The princess Gina has been transformed into another cupcake pick. And the cupcake has been enlarged and turne into a princess wand. I colored everything with prisma pencils, copics, and bic's. I did add some diamond glaze to the cupcake frosting on the wand. So have fun, and I can't wait to see what kind of games, and creations everyone comes up with. Make sure you visit everyone's blogs listed on the right hand side of my blog. Have a wonderful time at the party!!!!

We Have A Winner!

Good morning, hope all is well with you. If you are here for TCC Feature Friday, please scroll down to the next post. I have a winner for the blog hop contest. If you remember I was supposed to pick one person that commented to win the image that I worked with. I used Random.org to pick and the lucky number is 39 which is Gina. So, Gina I need your email to pass along in order for you to get your prize. Thanks so much for playing.

TCC Feature Friday

Good evening, hope all is well with you. It's our first Feature Friday with the new DT. We are changing things up a bit this time around. Each week, one member will be hosting a challenge, and 5 other dt members will be working with her. The rest of us are too find a challenge out there in blogger land and play along with that. So I chose to do the challenge from Lili Of The Valley. Their challenge was to make a Christmas card for a child. Well, I decided to not do a traditional Christmas card. I chose to do an ATC. I thought it would be cute to give a "small" card to a child. When I showed this to my girls, they thought it was so cute, and wanted one. So I guess I got it right this time-heehee! I also thought it would be kinda cool to show you a little bit better how you can re size these digital images. This little guy-Scamp- is re sized down to about 2 inches, perfect for an ATC. So make sure you check out the rest of the DT members, listed on my sidebar-left hand side. Make sure you play along with this weeks challenge which is stitching, for a chance to win some adorable images. Have a wonderful evening, and thanks for stopping by.

The Character Cafe' Blog Hop!

WOO HOO! It's the premiere of the new design team for The Character Cafe', and the premiere of new releases! Kendra and Kelly have been hard at work getting this new release ready for you, so sit back, relax, and enjoy the hop!

Let's get some business out of the way, and then I'll give you the hop order, and of course my creation for today. First-there is a code for you to get 30% off of all the new releases, and that is "OctBlogHop" without the quotations. This code is good from Friday Oct. 2nd through Friday Oct. 9th. Next, of course you need to visit every one's blogs and leave a comment. There will be a freebie along the way, never know where it is! Each DT member will choose one winning name to win the image that they have used. And-drum roll please-Kelly and Kendra will pick one name from the comments on The Cafe' Blog to win the grand prize of ALL of the new releases. Also, if you post on your blog or a forum about our hop you will get another entry. If the winner has already won a new image from the DT blogs, they may choose an older image.

Ok, now if you've come across my blog from Dianne's, then you are on the right track. From here you will need to go to Deanne's.

Finally onto my project. I kinda got bored doing just cards, and decided to do something different. Of course I didn't get a chance to do anything until today, and then couldn't decide what I wanted to do-what's new! So here I am at the last minute trying to get this done. I found this cute little template for a Christmas Tree Box here. I got to use this cute little snowman image. I love snowmen, so this was perfect for me. Although, I wanted to use all of the new images. I printed the template and put it all together. It was very easy! I made a tag with the snowman image to attach to the top of the box. The box is actually supposed to be used as an ornament, which I think is really cute. I used DCWV dp from the Christmas stack. I made the stars in Microsoft office, added some jewel stars and glitter, and voila'. HERE it is! Now onto the blog hop order in case you get lost along the way.
Just wanted to let you know that The Character Cafe does have a new website, but due to some unexpected technical difficulty, you will be able to get there from the home page of the old one that is linked above. Have a wonderful day, enjoy the hop, and we can't wait to see what you create with all these wonderful images.
