House Mouse Challenge 15

Ok, I'm on a roll, 2 posts in 1 day. This is for the Monday House Mouse Challenge Blog. If you haven't tried, you should. They are alot of fun. And those ladies are very talented. This weeks challenge was to use polka dots. Way too easy for me, I Love polka dots. The only challenge was how to incorporate them into a Christmas card. But I think it worked, what do you think? I rec'd this image in a swap on SCS. I love all these house mouse images, and am trying to build my collection. Until then, I love these swaps!! The plaid dp is from DCWV christmas stack-last year. The polka dot dp is DCWV nursery stack. The ribbon is from my stash, and the star clothespin is from a package from Michael's, gems are also from Michael's. Hope you like it and please tell me what you think. I love reading all the comments. Have a great day.

Bunny Kisses

Good late morning to all. I made this card for the SCS sketch challenge #203. I just got this stamp, and had to ink it up. Isn't it cute? I know, I know, my lines aren't straight. I do not know what my problem is I cannot cut, glue or do anything in straight lines. I've even tried to use a ruler, but it never works. Oh well, forgive me!! I try. Have a wonderful day.

House Mouse Challenge #14

Good evening everyone again, hope you are all doing well. This card if for House Mouse Monday Challenge. If you haven't played along with any of these you really should, they are so much fun. This week's challenge was to do anything Christmas. Ok, so I used an image I rec'd in a swap on SCS. Sorry I don't know the name of the stamp, but I love it, it's so cute(don't you think). The CS is DCWV, Dp is DaisyD'spaper. I colored with Koh-I-Noor pencils, and some crystal stickles. The "snow" is some chunky glitter stuff that I got from my mom. I love this stuff too, it's so pretty. I added some ribbon and jewels, and voila it's done. It's simple but I really like it. What do you think? I love hearing your comments.

Blog Group Challenge #3

Good Evening, I finally finished Challenge #3. Danielle was our host this time around. She decided to do a sketch. So here is my take on it. The picture is not the best, but I couldn't go outside to take the picture, because it's dark here. Oh well, hopefully you can see it good enough. I rec'd this image in a swap on SCS, and I LOVE it. I want the stamp, but I have no idea who it's by. I went with non-traditional colors even though it is a Christmas card. I had to move my sentiment to the top instead of the bottom. I colored it with my Twinkling H2o's. I LOVE those too. They are very shimmery, and just perfect for these type of images. So my supplies are as follows:
CS- "Bank Roll" by DCWV
DP- Daisy Bucket Designs
Image- Unknown
Twinkling H2o's
Crystal Stickles
Clear snowflakes-unknown, I found them in my stash, I have no idea where they came from.
Sentiment-Studio G
Thanks for looking and let me know what you think, I love hearing the feedback.

House Mouse Challenge #13

Hello again!!! I know, I know, it's been a little bit since I last posted. You know how life is, it like's to get in the way of what you really want to be doing. Oh well, I'm back now. So this weeks challenge on House Mouse was to use "junk". It sounds easier than it was. I thought "junk, what the heck kinda junk am I going to use." So I was talking to my mom, and kicking around ideas, but nothing really seemed to interest me, so I thought I would skip this week. Then I was cleaning my room and found all kinds of junk to throw away. I came across this cookie tin, and thought it might turn out cute. This is the first time I've done anything like this. I keep seeing all these other things that everybody alters and always think that they are so cute, but probably harder than I want to deal with, so I've never done it. Well, I finally did and I LOVE the way it turned out. I bought this stamp from someone on SCS and LOVE it too. My daughter Ashlee, loves to snowboard so when I saw this it totally reminded me of her. So this is for her to collect her money to buy her snowboarding things that she wants. Anyway, thanks for looking and hope you enjoy it. Let me know what you think, I love hearing all of your comments.

House Mouse Challenge #12

Hello again, I've made a card for the House Mouse Monday Challenge. If you haven't played along with any of these challenges you should try. They are very fun, and some very challenging. This week they had a recipe for the card or whatever that we were supposed to make. The hardest part for me was to use felt, I've never used it before, but it was fun. The felt is the stickers under the buttons. I also made this for my mother's anniversary, which of course is late. I'm always late with cards-never fails. I know she's gonna see it, I already told her it was here. She's also part of my SCS blogging group. So I hope you like it mom!!! Have a great day everybody, and let me know what you think.

Twilight movie countdown

Pretty Princess

Good Morning, today is the first of our SCS blog group challenges. And I was the first to sign up, so I get to do the first one. Yay me!? I'm not quite sure if that's a good thing or not. Oh well, here it goes. I made this one pretty simple, because I don't sketch, and I didn't have a whole lot of time to think about this one. We had unexpected company this weekend. So, It's a 2 part challenge. First, use polka dots-anywhere you want, any way you want. Second, use ribbon-again anyway you want, anywhere you want. If your don't have polka dot paper, you can use the new eraser of a pencil, it works great. I did not do that this time, but have in the past and love it. I think we said these were going to be week long challenges. So have your entry uploaded and on your blog by Sunday evening-Nov. 9th. Have fun, and be creative!!! And good luck to the next hostess. Well, I had to come back and edit this, because as usual I didn't read the directions first, so I didn't list my supplies, so here it goes:
Green CS-Bazzill shimmers-Bank Roll
DP-Making Memories
Image-from a swap on SCS
Ribbon-not sure, probably Michael's
Princess Images-Studio G clear set
Misc-Prisma color pencils, silver glitter glue, silver and purple glitter marker-martha stewart, inks around edges-martha stewart, corner rounder, glue dots, and gems from michael's
Hope that helps, and have fun!!!!!
Also, I just read that we were doing this every 2 weeks, so no pressure!!
