Flutterby Anya

Good afternoon, hope all is well with you. I've made another Anya card. Isn't she the cutest?! I used the sketch from SCS. All the paper is DCWV. The CS is Emerald city from their bling line. The dp is from the Nursery Girl Stack. I colored her with Copics. I did emboss the image first. I used Diamond Glaze on the wings and pigtails. Oh, I almost forgot, I colored her wings and pigtails with my Shimmerz that I've gotten in my SS swaps on SCS. This is the first time that I've tried them, and I LOVE them. They are gorgeous!!! I've just ordered some more, and can't wait until they get here. I popped up the panels and Anya herself. The butterfly's are a punch. I layered the green and bent it up to look like they were flying. Thanks so much for looking, hope you like it.

A Little Monster

Good evening, hope all is well with you. This card was made for 2 challenges. The first was for the Sketch Challenge on SCS. The second was for the Cupcake Craft Challenge. The challenge for the cupcake craft blog was to use a monster, didn't matter which one or what it looked like, just to use a monster. I got this monster from All That Scraps. This is a digital image for download. If you haven't seen them, you really should look. They offer all different kinds of digital images. I had gotten him just before I found out what this challenge was, so he was of course the perfect choice. I used the sketch on SCS for this weeks challenge. The Orange CS is DCWV, the purple is from Michael's value pack. The DP is from Imaginisce. The stickers are some that I picked up somewhere-not quite sure where. I colored the image with copic's and Bic mark it's. I used pop dots to make it POP out. Hope you like it and thanks for looking.

House Mouse Combined Challenge

Good evening, hope all is well with you. I've combined 2 challenges in 1. The House Mouse challenge this week was to use chipboard on your card. For me this was very hard. Although I have tons of chipboard things, I don't use them. They always feel too big, or just don't fit my theme. So I found one of these little tags that I got from the dollar section at Joann's, and thought it fit pretty good. Although, I must tell you, I went through every piece I had and didn't like anything. The second part of this challenge was the Sketch Challenge on SCS. The image is from one of the many swaps I like to sign up for, and the CS, and DP is DCWV. The ribbon is from my stash. And I colored my image with watercolor crayons. I was inspired to use them when I saw a card Gina's blog in which she used her watercolor crayons. I remembered that I had some of those, so I finally used them again. Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

Geisha Anya

Good afternoon everyone, hope all is well with you. I've finally finished another card. This one is for the SCS sketch challenge. I haven't been able to participate in this in quite awhile. It was so fun, but I must tell you that the whole circle part was quite a challenge for me, not sure why, but it was. so I used the Geisha Anya from The Greeting Farm stamp co. If you haven't seen this company's stamps, you really need to take a look. They are the cutest things. Of course I've had to order from them several times. The CS and DP are both DCWV. I finally found the Far East stack from DCWV. I've been looking for this forever, and Joann's finally got it in. It's totally perfect for this adorable little stamp. Oh and did I mention that this is a digital stamp. What could be better, instant gratification. They offer several digital stamps along with unmounted ones. So, I hope you like it, thanks for looking, and let me know what you think.

Halloween Witch

WOW!!! It's been a really long time since I've posted. We've been extremely busy as usual!!! So for my first posting this is a Halloween card I made for the sketch challenge #195 on Splitcoast. I'm a few behind(nothing new). Anyway, I made a comment last time that I needed to get more halloween paper, and I've done it. So, I decided to make this sketch into a Halloween card. I really like that way it turned out. I got a clear Halloween stamps set at my LSS, it is by making memories, and I love it!!! I wasn't impressed with the witch until I put my trusty glitter glue all over her dots. The jewels are from Michael's in the orange and black(love these too). The ribbon is absolutely adorable. I don't know if you can see it very well, but it is purple with witches feet on it. I got it from michael's. Hope you like it, and thanks for looking.

Chelsea's Birthday Card

Hello again, I've made this card for my DD Chelsea's 17th Birthday. She LOVES Ariel, and I got this image in a swap, and knew it was perfect for her. I used a sketch from Splitcoast's weekly sketch challenge. I think it turned out adorable, and she totally loved it. I used copics to color her in, and lots of crystal stickles-gotta love the glitter. And I used colors I don't usually use, so yeah for me!! Hope you like it. Let me know what you think.

Hedgehog Thank You

Well it's been awhile since I've posted anything. Things can get very hectic around here very fast. Also had some computer issues-hate those!! So I made this card for a sketch challenge on Splitcoast. I love doing bigger cards because it gives me more room to work with. And I always seem to need more room. I look at some other peoples standard size card and wonder how they got all of that on there. Obviously I have some kind of problem. Oh Well!!! I've had this hedgehog set for awhile and have never used it-I think I have a problem with that too!! I'm also trying to use different colors, it seems that I tend to use the same ones all the time, pink, green, purple. I have to tell you that it was somewhat challenging, although, looking back at some other cards I've made I use these colors when I'm not using my normal ones. I guess I'll have to start doing the color challenges on Splitcoast so I can get past that. So let me know what you think, I love getting feedback.
