A Sassy Layout Challenge!

Ok, so tomorrow is National Scrapbooking Day, and it’s release day for Sassy Studio Designs.  So we thought what better way to celebrate than to do a layout challenge.

SSD-layout

So here’s mine.  I have to tell you that making layouts drives me crazy!  I now know why I never followed through with my scrapbooking.  I really need to, but I don’t know if I can handle it.  Ok, so back to the challenge. You can do anything-traditional, digi, or hybrid layouts.  You have to use at least 1 SSD image on the layout.  You have from now until 5 pm PST on Saturday, which is the start of our release party and chatting.  Then the DT will pick a winner and announce it at 6:30 on the SSD blog and the party blog.  The winner will get to choose 3 SSD images!!!  So, what are you waiting for?  Besides, I obviously need some inspiration, so get busy!

Sketch Girl 17!

Frenzified_logo_FINAL

Good morning, hope all is well with you!  It’s the last day of the month and that means it’s time for another wonderful sketch by our own Annie.  Our sponsor is Frenzified, if you haven’t checked out her store, please do!  She’s got some very cute stuff in there.  So, here’s the sketch to follow:

SG17 A

SG17 B

Annie gave a choice of two different ones to play with.  I chose the second one, because of the circles.  It fit perfectly with the images from Frenzified that I chose.

SG17

I know, your thinking a purple cat!  But, I had this really cute paper, and as soon as I saw this image, I knew I wanted to use it.  So, yes I went with the cute version for this adorable little kitty.  And I told you that the image was perfect for the circles.  Frenzified has these circle sentiments that go along with quite a few of their images, so I used one of those.  Don’t forget to check out the Sketch Girl blog  to get the details for this challenge!  And make sure you check out my fellow Sketch Girls and leave them some love!

My Baby Girl in her Senior Prom Dress-and A Sassy Sneak Peek!

chelsea-in-prom-dress

Good Friday Morning, hope all is well with you.  It’s time to start the sneak peeks for the upcoming release at Sassy Studio Designs.  I have a special one for you today, as it is inspired by this picture of my oldest daughter-Chelsea in her beautiful prom dress.  She is a senior this year, so she agreed to the full on prom experience.  You have to understand, she is not a girly girl at all.  Don’t get me wrong, she wears makeup and all that, just doesn’t like the whole princess thing, pink, or anything like that!  But she fell in love with this dress, and it went from there.  And yes that is a tiara in her hair.  She did that for me-lol!  Anywho, Lindsay had mentioned that she wanted to do a prom image, and I sent her this pic, and voila’ here is Lindsay’s interpretation.

SSD-chelsea's-prom

SSD-pic-album

I made a card, and matching picture album.  It’s just one of the ones from the dollar store.  I  basically made a card front, and slipped it into the plastic.  Her and her friends have a Escalade limo for the prom, and are taking quite a few cameras with them.  So I thought this would be fun for her!  Sorry about the flash in the picture, I couldn’t get a good one without it.  Thanks for stopping by.  Stay tuned for more upcoming sneak peeks.  Also, don’t forget to check out the SSD blog for challenges and what not!

Greeting Farm Whimsical Wednesday

TGF-audrey

Good afternoon, hope all is well with you!  Yesterday we had BEAUTIFUL weather, so we spent the day at the lake.  And I’m sun burnt even though I used sunscreen.  It’s not that bad, I’ll live.  And today the weather is yucky-what’s new!  I got a chance to play in the Whimsical Wednesdays challenge again.  I’ve been waiting to use the adorable Audrey.  I love her, she reminds me of my youngest daughter, such a tomboy, but girly at the same time!!  I kept it very simple, the sketch was perfect for her, just layers, and the cute little flowers in the corners.  Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

WFK-punches

Good morning, hope all is well with you.  I finally got to participate in a Wild Flower Patch challenge.  I love these little kids, they are so cute.  I actually have quite a few, but haven’t had the time to play until now.  Jen is an amazing artist, if you haven’t checked out these adorable little guys, you should.  I used the Heart Fairy Daisy image.  The challenge this week at Wild Flower Patch is to use bold colors and 3 punches.  My flowers are punched and so is the circle.  The scallop circle is a nestie.  I used a sketch from SketchandStash.  This also qualifies for Kaboodle Doodles challenge which is to use a digi girl.  Also for Sketches! recipe challenge.  Papertake Weekly-cute, Crazy 4 Challenges-recipe.  Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

The Character Cafe’s Fairy Belle

TCC-fairy-belle

Good morning, hope all is well with you today.  While The Character Cafe’ is taking a short break, I will still be bringing you some little cuties to share.  Today I’ve used Fairy Belle, isn’t she adorable!  I used the sketch from Mojo Monday, and used my favorite color combo.  Actually anything with pink is my fave.  Like I said The Character Cafe’ is taking a short break to put a new design team together.  If you’d like to apply see the TCC store for more details.  The call is also posted on SCS, PCP,  and SNR.  They are wonderful company to work for, and of course you can’t go wrong with their images.  Don’t forget about the $1 sale going on now for a limited time, and it is running out.  So if you’ve seen all the images that we’ve worked with, and haven’t picked them up yet, what are you waiting for?  Have a wonderful day, and thanks for stopping by.

Happy Sassy Thursday to You!

SSD-4-1

Good morning, hope all is well with you.  It’s time for another Sassy Thursday challenge.  Our challenge to you today is to make a project-it can be anything-with a spring theme or feel to it.  The challenge is open up until Wed. 4/7 midnight pst.  The winner will receive 2 sassy images of their choice.  So make something wonderful for spring and head over to Sassy Studio Designs to link it up.  I’ve really been in the mood to work with yellow, and then I found this paper by Basic Grey and was in love, not only is it yellow, but it’s pink too-my fave color-I HAD to use it.  I used the new sketch from Truly Scrumptious for this card.

SSD-PCP-challenge

This card is for our Sassy PCP group.  I set a challenge for them yesterday and you have until Saturday April 3rd at noon pst. to enter that one.  The challenge is to use a handmade flower and a butterfly on your project.  As you can see, I used more than one butterfly.  Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
