Happy Sassy Thursday to You!

Good morning, hope all is well with you.  It’s time for another Sassy Thursday challenge.  Our challenge to you today is to make a project-it can be anything-with a spring theme or feel to it.  The challenge is open up until Wed. 4/7 midnight pst.  The winner will receive 2 sassy images of their choice.  So make something wonderful for spring and head over to Sassy Studio Designs to link it up.  I’ve really been in the mood to work with yellow, and then I found this paper by Basic Grey and was in love, not only is it yellow, but it’s pink too-my fave color-I HAD to use it.  I used the new sketch from Truly Scrumptious for this card.

A Cupcake Tree Bookmark!

An Adorable Cupcake Fairy!

TCC Feature Friday

Good morning, hope all is well with you. I'm finally starting to feel like my old self again, and get things done. Today is Friday which means Feature Friday for The Character Cafe'. This is the first time I've been able to participate since the last release-WOO HOO! So to make up for some lost time, I've done 2 projects. The first is a pizza box featuring Seymour Turtle. I'm sure you know by now that I LOVE turtles, so I couldn't wait to use this image. I colored with my prisma pencils and baby oil. I cut the image out with my nesties, and added some diamond glaze to the bubbles. The ribbon is from Michael's and the dew drops are from my lss. The second project features Boo Witchy. She's adorable, isn't she?! I colored her with copics, and added some stickles to go along with the WIW for this week. SSD Primary Color Challenge

Good morning, hope all is well with you. Yesterday was release day over at SSD. This time around was a school theme, so our challenge was to use Red, Yellow, and Blue. I didn't have any of the new releases yet, so I used one from last time called Freckled Fun Lindsay. Isn't she cute?! I colored her with Prisma pencils and baby oil. I cut the image and mat out with my nesties. The CS is Bazzill Bling line, and the DP is Dcwv. The ribbon is from Michael's and and the buttons are from Joann's. I added some crystal stickles all over the place(hehe). It feels so good to be back doing something fun. Hope you like it and thanks for looking. WOW, it's the 7th Feature Friday already!

Good morning, hope all is well with you! Can you believe it's the 7th week of Feature Friday from The Character Cafe'? Today I have the Sunflower for you. I LOVE this sunflower and haven't used it yet, so I thought today would be perfect. I colored the image with my prisma pencils and baby oil. I so LOVE this technique. I don't why I was ever afraid of it! Oh well! This digi image comes with 4 different ones-3 of them have sentiments! How cool is that? The CS is Bazill Bling line. All DP is Bo Bunny, not sure of the line. I did distress the main panel with Tim Holtz distress ink. And in case you forget(like I did) the Work It Wednesday for this week is GLITTER! Who doesn't love glitter? So this was again perfect for me. I tend to used it on just about everything I do. Make sure you check it out, you could even win a prize!!! I colored the dew drops with my copics, and added some twine. I bought a bunch of this awhile ago, and totally forgot about it, until I found it the other day while cleaning up(hehe). I swear it's like going shopping again, when I clean up my stamping area! Is anybody else like this?! Squigglefly Challenge #9

Good evening, hope all is well with you. This post is for the Squigglefly Challenge #9. Kim was in charge of the challenge this week, and let me tell you it is a doozy!!! She gave us the challenge of making a one layer card with only one embellishment(holy cow)! I don't know if I've ever made a one layer card, so this was definitely a challenge for me. I decided to use a sentiment which did make it a little bit easier. The sentiment is of course from Squigglefly, and called "bee happy". I just inserted it into microsoft office and from there could re size it. I colored with my copics and added some polka dots to the word "happy" with my gel pen. I added stickles to the wings and along the trail of the bee. I finished it off with some polka dot ribbon with knots on each end. The ribbon is from Michael's. The Character Cafe' Feature Friday Week 3

Good morning, hope all is well with you. WOW! I just realized that I haven't posted anything for a whole week. We got so busy with the holiday and family that it just got away from me. But today I have a card for you from The Character Cafe'. This image is called FairyBelle, isn't she adorable!!! The Cs is Bazzill bling line, and the dp is all from my stash(sorry)! I colored this little fairy with my copics, and addled a little stickles for accents! When you buy this image it comes in pdf format also, and that one has the extra wings on it that are slightly larger than the image. I used those behind the image and bent the actual wings up a bit. Hope that made sense, it's very late, and I'm tired(haha)! I popped her up on dimensional pop dots to make her look like she's floating through the air! I added some dew drops and pretty ribbon and voila', there she is! Don't forget that The Character Cafe' has Work It Wednesday, which is a tutorial done by the DT and also a challenge to go along with it. There are prizes, and of course it's lots of fun! Squigglefly Blog Hop Day 2

Good morning, and welcome to the Squigglefly Blog Hop Day 2. If you've arrived her from Holly's blog then your on the right track. If you didn't then you need to go to Amanda's blog to start the hop. So, business first! If you haven't checked out Squigglefly lately, you need to get over there. They've released lots of new images. And they've started two new things. First, for the month of July they will donate 50% of sales out of the "animals" category to the ASPCA. Second, starting very soon they will be doing a rewards program. For every 15 dollars that you spend, you get to choose a free image. It can be any image you want, no restrictions! How cool is that? And of course since this is a blog hop, their are prizes. Squigglefly will give 3 images to one person that leaves a comment on all of the blogs today. (they did the same thing yesterday).

Ok, now that all of that is said, onto the card! Today's card uses the image "A surprise from Sara". I immediately fell in love with this image for 3 reasons. First she has my name, even spelled the same way. Second, she looks just like strawberry shortcake-to me. Third, she reminds me of my youngest daughter, Sabrina. I colored her with prisma pencils and blended with the prisma blender. I added some diamond glaze to the sun and clouds. The CS is Bazzill, and all dp is DCWV stack 5. The ribbon and bling is from Michael's. I did add a little bit of stickles here and there. I used the sketch from card patterns. So, hope you like it and thanks for hopping along with us. Sassy Studio Designs Card

Good evening, hope all is well with you. Tonight I have a card that I made using a digi image from Sassy Studio Designs. The image is called "Cell Phone Cindy". Isn't she cute? It so reminds me of my girls, although they are mostly texting, but you get the idea. I colored her with prisma pencils, and add some stickles here and there. I used a sketch from Our Creative Corner. The CS is Bazill bling line, and the dp is unknown. It was already cut up and the name gone. On the pink panel I used a Studio G stamp and stamped it in CTMH denim blue and in versamark. The "Call Me" sentiment is from Studio G as well. The ribbon is from the Dollar Tree. I added a few buttons, and voila' it's done. Thanks for looking, hope you like it. Please don't forget that tomorrow is the first ever Work It Wednesday on TCC's blog. The Character Cafe's Feature Friday

Good morning, hope all is well with you. This morning I have a card for the first Feature Friday from The Character Cafe. Each week there will be a "Work it Wednesday" and a "Feature Friday". On Wednesday's 1 member of the design team will showcase a "style" for you. And on Friday the rest of the design team will be showing you their projects. The "Work it Wednesday" will begin on July 1st, so don't miss it. Today I chose the Cupcake Pewter image to work with. I'm not usually into skunks, but you have to admit that He is adorable. I had so many ideas going around in my head when I started this, but as the day went on, it got more and more simple. Hope it's not to simple for you. I kinda like the simpleness-lol! I used purple CS by Bazill, and the polka dot dp is Making Memories, the purple dp is DCWV. I added a couple of primas and voila-here he is! I colored him with copics, and bic's. I was given "Fairy Nissa" as my first image to play with. And what a perfect choice for me. Isn't she adorable. I was secretly hoping that they would give me this one-hehe! I decided to go a little darker with her, but had to use pink too. I colored her with copics and added a little stickles to give her some sparkle. I tried out a new type of card for this one too. This one opens at the top, like an envelope. I did the inside with this one too. I just added some black paper, and a little cherry. Thanks so much for playing along.

My Grafico Challenge

Good evening, hope all is well with you. This card is for the My Grafico Challenge. I just found this blog, I've seen the website before and they have very cute images. This week was to use one of these birds that they were actually giving away free. Isn't it cute? When I first saw this little bird, I immediately thought of fibers for her tail. Because of the fibers everywhere I kept the rest of the card very simple. I used a circle card template from The Cutting Cafe'. They have some awesome digital images and card templates. I used copics to color the little bird, added some purple ink around the edges and finished it off with a little bit of stickles. Hope you like it and thanks for looking.

A Whimsy Doodles Creation

Good morning, hope all is well with you. Today I have a card made with an adorable image from Whimsy Doodles. If you haven't seen these before, then you need to go right away. She has the cutest images. And alot of them are turtles, what could be better. This image is called "This bud's for you". I printed out several of these and then re sized some too. The idea here was to make a mom and her babies. See the 4 babies? That's how many I have. Actually I've had this idea for awhile, since this is going to be my new tattoo. Although I'm not using this turtle, but a sea turtle. So, when I started working with this image, I thought how perfect to put my idea on a card. What do you think? I colored with my copics. The sketch is from card patterns, challenge #18. I made the card long in order to fit all my cute little turtles. The CS is DCWV, and the dp is Creating Keepsakes. I used my corner rounder to add the scallop edges. I used Crystal Stickles to go around the scallops and to highlight the roses. The ribbon is from Michael's and the bling is also from Michael's. Around The House SS Challenge

Good morning, hope all is well with you. Today's card was made for our DIVA'S SS challenge. Julie gave us the challenge last week to make a card with something from "around the house". I decided to use buttons, because I couldn't think of anything else. The image is from a clear Inkadinkadoo set. I stamped it in black staz-on, and colored with copics, MS glitter marker, and Xmas Red Stickles. The card base is "Black Tie" DCWV, the dp is also DCWV, and the red is from a value pack at Michael's. I inked the edges in silver by colorbox, and added 3 buttons with silver glitter glue in the middle of them. Hope you like it, and thanks for looking.

Bella Tag

Good afternoon, hope all is well with you. Today I have a Bella tag. I did these tags for a swap on SCS. This particular Bella is called Snowbunnybella. Isn't she cute?! The tags were very simple. I colored the image with copics, MS glitter markers, and stickles. The CS is from Michael's value pack, and the dp is DCWV stack. I used an eyelet with fibers through it for the top. And added some jewels to the corner. Thanks for looking, hope you like it.

Squigglefly DT Challenge #5

Good morning, hope all is well with you. Today's card is for the Squigglefly DT challenge #5. This week was a color challenge. We were to use: Kiwi Kiss, Pacific Breeze, and Pink Pirouette. Well, I don't have Stampin' Up colors, so I got as close as I could. The image is actually a freebie from Squigglefly. Isn't it beautiful?! I colored with my prisma color pencils and blended with the colorless blender pencil. The green CS is DCWV, the blue is from Michael's value pack, and the dp is Making Memories. 2 Challenges In 1

Good afternoon, hope all is well with you. I've done 2 challenges in 1 for this card. And I actually did 2 cards yesterday(what the heck?). My husband took all 4 kids cat fishing last night, and I had the whole night to myself. All I can say is WOW! That was so nice. So this card is for the Cupcake Craft Challenge. The challenge this week was to use a fairy. Well since I just received my Bella order with my new Ketto's in it, I had to use one of those. This is Agnes Ketto, isn't she adorable?! I used a sketch from the Mojo Monday Challenge. Therefore the 2nd part of the challenge. All paper is DCWV, the dp is from the Far East stack. The black is Black Tie Bling. I colored my image with copics. I cut everything out with my nesties from 7kidscollegefund. They have great prices on these. The sentiment is from Impression Obsession. The grossgrain is from the dollar store and the cream and gold ribbon is from Michael's. The flowers are kaiser scrap, with the center flower from a dollar pkg. The butterfly is from my stash. I used crystal stickles to outline everything. And the jewels are from Michael's also. Hope you like it, and thanks for looking.

Box and ATC challenge for D.I.V.A.S. SS

Good morning, hope all is well with you. I'm posting 2 different things in 1 this morning, because of course I'm behind. The first picture is of the box that I made for the challenge about 2 weeks ago. It's called a no adhesive box and you can find the tutorial Here. It's really easy and I think very cute. I used a stamp for the top that I actually bought for my mom, but used really quick-hehe. I embossed it in silver and sponged the edges in black, and then added glitter glue around it. I added a eyelet and ribbon and Voila'. The next picture is of our latest challenge to do an ATC. I posted this challenge because I've always wanted to do one. Then when I started doing it, I realized I've pretty much done one when I made some tags. Oh well, it was fun. The image is from Pink Petticoat, and it's a freebie. I used all scraps on this, I was so happy. I decided yesterday to go through my scraps, and OMG, there is way too many. I colored with copics and bic's. Hope you like them, and thanks for looking.
