tiddly-inks-bookmark

Good afternoon, hope all is well with you.  I have a very simple but cute little bookmark for you today.  This absolutely adorable image is from Tiddly Inks.  If you love Christy’s images, make sure you check out her shop, or join her PCP group.  This is also for my Design DIVAS blog group monthly challenge.  Gina gave us the challenge to make something that has to do with reading.  I decided to give this to Sabrina since these are her favoritem colors!  Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Good afternoon, hope all is well with you. Today I have a stair step fold card. Our first Secret Sister challenge for my blog group was an unusual fold. I've been wanting to try this one for awhile, and it is so fun. And it's easy!!! That's the best part. You can find a tutorial Here. And now a few things coming up to tell you about. Tomorrow is challenge day on Sassy Studio. Friday is the release day and blog hop for The Character Cafe', with prizes to be won. They have some super cute images this time around too, so don't miss it! And Saturday is challenge day for Robyn's Fetish. Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Rockin' The Rattle

Good afternoon, hope all is well with you. Today is Friday and that usually means Feature Friday for TCC, but they are in the middle of picking a new DT. So, we had the choice to post something or not. Well I decided I would, but of course couldn't get the idea from my head to the card, so I'm late! This card is made with the baby word art. I have to say that I'm lovin this set of word art. They are very interesting. When I saw this one I knew I had to use it. It also qualifies for my blog group's challenge, which was to use a sentiment as the main focal. So hope you like it and thanks for looking. One more thing-Annie from Sketch Girls has some sentiment stamps from Creative Clear Stamps to give away for this weeks challenge. You could also be chosen to be a guest designer, so make sure you play along with us. Have a great day!!!

Around The House SS Challenge

Good morning, hope all is well with you. Today's card was made for our DIVA'S SS challenge. Julie gave us the challenge last week to make a card with something from "around the house". I decided to use buttons, because I couldn't think of anything else. The image is from a clear Inkadinkadoo set. I stamped it in black staz-on, and colored with copics, MS glitter marker, and Xmas Red Stickles. The card base is "Black Tie" DCWV, the dp is also DCWV, and the red is from a value pack at Michael's. I inked the edges in silver by colorbox, and added 3 buttons with silver glitter glue in the middle of them. Hope you like it, and thanks for looking.

Red, White, and Blue Challenge

Good morning, hope all is well with you. I've finally finished my red, white, and blue challenge. This challenge was given to us by Jennifer from The Design D.I.V.A.S. blog group. This challenge was given to us quite awhile ago, but I've been so far behind. I'm finally getting caught up. I used the star card template from The Cutting Cafe'. I added some blue and red and striped stars on top. The image is from Scrapsmart. If you've never been there, you should check it out. They have wonderful vintage images available for immediate download. I outlined with silver glitter glue, and a Martha Stewart silver glitter marker. I added 2 star buttons tied with embroidery thread. Thanks for looking, hope you like it.

Box and ATC challenge for D.I.V.A.S. SS

Good morning, hope all is well with you. I'm posting 2 different things in 1 this morning, because of course I'm behind. The first picture is of the box that I made for the challenge about 2 weeks ago. It's called a no adhesive box and you can find the tutorial Here. It's really easy and I think very cute. I used a stamp for the top that I actually bought for my mom, but used really quick-hehe. I embossed it in silver and sponged the edges in black, and then added glitter glue around it. I added a eyelet and ribbon and Voila'. The next picture is of our latest challenge to do an ATC. I posted this challenge because I've always wanted to do one. Then when I started doing it, I realized I've pretty much done one when I made some tags. Oh well, it was fun. The image is from Pink Petticoat, and it's a freebie. I used all scraps on this, I was so happy. I decided yesterday to go through my scraps, and OMG, there is way too many. I colored with copics and bic's. Hope you like them, and thanks for looking.

Designing D.I.V.A.S SS challenge 1

Good afternoon, hope all is well with you. I've finally finished my secret sister challenge. I had it all in my head yesterday, but wasn't feeling good, and it kinda got put on the back burner. So now it's done. Our challenge was to use flowers as many flowers as we could. I thought it was going to be hard, but it was actually pretty easy. I used my new DCWV paper stack. It is Fun in the Sun Glitter Stack. I actually love all of the paper in here, it's gorgeous!!! The CS is also DCWV bling line. The stamp is a new set I got at Joann's the other day. It's called Wild Daisy Rd. by Heidi Grace. I embossed it with copper embossing powder. I just won a set of Creamy Mettalic Chalks by Pebbles Inc. I used one of those to go around the white on the flower. The got sent to me really quick, and I totally love them. They are great, they don't "fly" away like regular chalks. They are beautiful! The flowers are from different sets I've been buying. The center of the flowers is a flower jewel from Heidi Grace. I used my nesties to cut out the main panel. Hope you like it, thanks for looking.
