Good evening, hope all is well with you. Ok, I kept dreaming about this card I was working on, all night. So when I got up this morning I did my normal-get the kids to school, coffee, email thing. And then decided to work on this card. Well, then I remembered about this Digisentiment card I was supposed to do. Digisentiment is a new company that put out a DT call. So I decided I was gonna try it out. Now, when I went to print the sentiment, I of course couldn't find it on my computer. I finally did, got it printed and started working on the card. Well I decided I should find out what requirements there were, and so on. I finally found the thread on SCS, and then found out that today was the last day for this call. So I started to panic, but I got it done. PHEW!!!! This is my first time trying out for a DT, I don't expect to get it at all, but it sure was fun. I've found that I really like using sentiments for the main image. All CS is DCWV bling line, except the white, that's GP. The vellum is from stuff I already had. The flowers are a combination of different ones that I've picked up this week. I used glitter brads in the middle of the flowers, and jewels on all four corners. I used my corner rounder to do the scallop on the edges. The pink glitter on the white layer is Art glitter, and the silver is MS. I used my new labels nesties from 7kidscollegefund. If you haven't checked out their store, you really should. She carries just about everything you could want. So, hope you enjoy this card, and I'm off to actually do the one I was dreaming about.

Flutterby Anya
Good afternoon, hope all is well with you. I've made another Anya card. Isn't she the cutest?! I used the sketch from SCS. All the paper is DCWV. The CS is Emerald city from their bling line. The dp is from the Nursery Girl Stack. I colored her with Copics. I did emboss the image first. I used Diamond Glaze on the wings and pigtails. Oh, I almost forgot, I colored her wings and pigtails with my Shimmerz that I've gotten in my SS swaps on SCS. This is the first time that I've tried them, and I LOVE them. They are gorgeous!!! I've just ordered some more, and can't wait until they get here. I popped up the panels and Anya herself. The butterfly's are a punch. I layered the green and bent it up to look like they were flying. Thanks so much for looking, hope you like it.

My Beautiful Girls
Good morning all, hope all is well with you. Today is not a craft related post, but it's very important to me. My 2 oldest daughters Chelsea-17, and Ashlee-14 went to the prom last night. As you can see, they look absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Chelsea already had her date-her boyfriend Travis, and Ashlee went with one of Chelsea's friends. Aren't they cute?! They all had a really good time, and I didn't get home until 2:30 this morning, from driving them around and dropping everybody off. But it was all worth it. My girls don't like to get dressed up very often, so I take full advantage when they do. I will have a card to post later this afternoon. Hope you all enjoy your Sunday. Oh, by the way, Chelsea is the dark haired one, and Ashlee is in the coral dress. Their friend Caitlin is in the black and white-they are too cute!!

Box and Bag Swap
Good afternoon, hope all is well with you. I've been working on a boxes and bags swap. I decided to sign up for this swap so that I would finally try to make some of the things that I thought were really neat. I'm kinda of a chicken when it comes to trying new stuff. I always think I'm going to mess it up, so I don't try it. Well, I was forced to this time, and it worked out good for me. I decided to do the sour cream containers, and the ghiradelli box. We had to have stamping on them somewhere, and at least one embellishment. For the sour cream container I used parchment paper and punched a circle then stamped a cupcake, colored it, and glued it on there. I used a brad to attach it to the container. I used a gem in the middle of the flower and added a bit of glitter glue. I think it turned out very cute. But my favorite is the ghiradelli box. It was so easy. I got the box all done, adhered some dp and made the closure out of a small scallop square with a one inch square punched out on top of that. I stamped a cute little butterfly and colored it with bic mark it's. I used pop up tape and used that as a closure. I did use copics and bic mark it's on the cupcake. And the best part of all is: I used scraps for all of these-yay!! I have so many and forget to use them. Hope you like them, thanks for looking.

House Mouse Challenge #33
Good evening, hope all is well with you. I've finally had some time to make something this week. This kids have been home for Easter break, so we've been busy with them. And of course the whole MIL thing. So I made this card for the House Mouse Challenge this week. The challenge for this week was to use multiple images or one image cut into multiple pieces. Oh my goodness, this one was very challenging for me. The image is one I got from my mother, and also the sentiment. The third image is one I just got from someone on SCS. I stamped the images in Black Staz-On, and colored with Prismacolor pencils. I blended with the colorless blender pencil. I used a Martha Stewart glitter pen to go over the words. All cs and dp is DCWV. The corners are cut with the victorian corner punch. The ribbon is from the Dollar store. I used scalloped nestabilities, and used a yellow eyelet. I did accent with stickles. The gems are from Michael's. Hope you like it and thanks for looking.

2 More Tags!!
Good evening, hope all is well with you. I've finally finished my final 2 tags. These were for the toddler and season group. For the toddler group, I used the giraffe from Imaginisce. The paper is DCWV baby boy stack. I used my nesties to cut the tags. I added a button and tied it off with embroidery thread. I colored the image with copics. I finished it off with an eyelet and fibers. The seasons tag was a little harder for me. I had one concept in my mind, but it didn't come out in real life. Again the paper is DCWV, and I added a felt flower on the side, finished it off with an eyelet and some fibers. I added class a peels sticker around the edges. Hope you like them and thanks for looking.

House Mouse Challenge #31-boxes and bags
Good evening, hope all is well with you. This weeks challenge on the House Mouse Challenge Blog was to make a box or bag. I saw a tutorial on SCS awhile ago and have been wanting to make it ever since. It's called a Coaster Gift Box, you can find the tutorial Here. So of course I waited until the last minute to get this done, but it's done. The dp is DCWV, the stamp is Beary Best Friend. I used my nesties to cut the image out. The mat behind is cs from Michael's value pack. I colored with copics, and added some ink around the edges. The ribbon is from my stash, and the jewels are from Michael's. This box is actually really simple to do. Thanks so much for looking, hope you like it.
Tag Swap
Good morning, hope all is well with you. I have 3 tags to share with you. I joined a Tag Swap on SCS. We are supposed to make 5 different tags, 1 style for each group. I've made 3 so far, they are: Baby, Birthday, and Holiday. I've still got 2 more to go, but you'll have to wait until tomorrow to see them. The first one is Halloween. I used a free downloadable paper from The Angel Company, you can find the thread here. It was just put up yesterday and I decided to use one of them for the largest label. They printed out great. The next layer is DCWV, and the last layer is the stamp, it's from Making Memories. This came in a whole set of Halloween stamps. I used a black eyelet to run the ribbon through, and added a couple of jewels. The next one is the Birthday one. Again I used DCWV CS, and the dp is from my stash. I really couldn't tell you who it's by. The stamp(isn't it just the cutest)is one my mom got for me last year. I colored him with Prisma pencils, and added a little bit of stickles. The saying is from Studio G. I added a couple of jewels from Michael's, and an eyelet and fibers that one of my SS sent to me. The last tag is the baby one. This one was a little harder for me because I wanted it to be for a boy or girl. The little umbrella is an embossing folder for the cuttlebug. The green CS is DCWV, and the dp is Making Memories. I added some purple glitter glue to the center of the umbrella, and a few dew drops, and last but not least stapled some polka dot ribbon with a purple staple. Hope you like them, and thanks for looking.

Easter Anya
Good afternoon, hope all is well with you. I finally got to use my Easter Anya from The Greeting Farm. This is one of their digital stamps they offer. Isn't she too cute!? I love the Anya line. I made this one for an Easter Bunny Swap on SCS. This swap was so fun. We got paired up with another player, and we got to send them a box or bag of goodies with an Easter theme. This is the first gate fold card I've ever made and I LOVE them. So, I hope you like it, thanks for looking.
