Designing DIVAS challenge

Good morning, hope all is well with you. I've finally finished a challenge that was given to us quite awhile ago. The challenge was to make an altered item with a holiday theme. Well for Mother's Day this year, I'm so behind. Oh well, my mom does expect this of me. But, I have felt very bad about this taking so long. I knew what I wanted to do, just wasn't sure how to go about it. I finally got it done yesterday. I had this digital photo frame and thought it would be a great gift for my mom with pictures of the kids in it. One problem, it was an ugly white plastic. I don't know about you, but I don't like ugly white plastic things. And I know that my mom doesn't. I used her favorite color-green, and threw in my fav color-pink. I primered the frame first, and then added 2 coats of paint. I sponged on pink-just to give it a little highlight. I then added a coat of glitter paint. I glued the flowers to the bottom, and in the middle of the flowers are pink crystal flower brads. I painted a chipboard flourish with the same pink, and added some glitter to it. I used wire edge ribbon to go through the ugly holes on top and make a huge bow. I love how this turned out, and hopefully my mom will too. I love you Mom, and so sorry it's late!!! Sorry about the flash in the pictured, I couldn't get a good pic without it. Hope you like it, and thanks for looking.
