A Recipe Challenge

Good evening, hope all is well with you.  The Stamping Boutique has started a new challenge-a recipe.  1 digi image, 3 embellishments, glitter/stickles.  I used the Whimsical Snowflake Tree image-which is just too cute! 

I apologize for the picture.  I’m still getting used to using windows 8-ugh!  So you can’t see it very well, but the tree is stickled.  And my 3 embellishments are: ribbon, snowflake, and pearls.  You have 2 weeks for this challenge…so what are you waiting for?

SSD Halloween Blog Hop

Good morning, hope all is well with you!  I know I’m late with this post, it seems like blogger ate my scheduled draft-ugh!

So, today is the day!  The second part of our Halloween release.  You should have arrived here from Holly’s blog.  If you got lost along the way-no worries!  You cn go back to Sassy Studio Designs and see the list.  I got to play with the gorgeous Batgirl!!!!  Which is just perfect for me, since I have some children that are obsessed with all things comic!  I did a layout to put Chelsea’s pic in(when I get printed).  She was Batgirl in 2011.

Think Outside The Box

Good morning, hope all is well with you!  So, SSD is getting the new DT set up-exciting!  But in the mean time, it’s only me and Kim keeping things going-lol.  I’m not sure if that’s good or not!  For today’s DTBST challenge Kim has asked us to “Think Outside The Box”, so pretty much anything except Square!  I decided to do this mustache card-well actually it’s  a little more than that.

 

It’s so cute, but I have to admit-decorating it was kinda hard.  It’s for  guy, so what r u supposed to use?  LOL!  You have until next Wednesday to get your entry in, so what r u waiting for!

Feeling Sketchy!

Good morning, hope all is well with you!  Sassy Studio Designs is sponsoring Feeling Sketchy and Through The Purple Haze.  So, there is a sketch and the theme for TTPH is “Book, Film, or Song”   I decided to use the new Captain Americana Sassy.  She is just so stinkin cute, and a huge hit in this house, since my children are self proclaimed nerds and love everything super heroes.

It’s Coming!

Good afternoon, hope all is well with you!  I know, I’ve been MIA for a bit.  I finally got a gorgeous new craft desk and it’s taken me since Sunday to get my room together-PHEW!  I’m so glad that’s done.  So today SSD is sponsoring Penny’s Paper Crafty with the challenge is use 2 or more DP’s.

80’s To The Max!

Good morning, hope all is well with you!  I’m sure you’ve noticed the 80’s theme around Sassy Studios!  Well, it’s our dear friend Regan’s 40th birthday, so we are celebrating!!! Who didn’t love the 80’s????  I did, high school years(class of ‘89), big hair, neon colors, lots of makeup.  Such fun!!!  So of course Lindsay has done some FABULOUS images!

I got to use one of the shaped cards on my Silhouette-the Thread Spool card.  This is for the Dutch Dare Card Challenges blog, and their challenge is “No Square Cards”.  I also got to use the new Tinker Sassy-she’s SO sassy!

Happy Anniversary!

Good morning, hope all is well with you!  It’s an Anniversary Release at Sassy Studio Designs.   Not only is it Lindsay’s wedding Anniversary, but it’s also the store’s anniversary.  Sassy Studio Designs is 4 years old!  WOO HOO!!!   So, to celebrate Lindsay has redone 4 of her classic images with a new spin.  You should have come here from the very talented Susan’s blog.

Now, for the fun part.  All of us have a chosen an anniversary year to base our creations on.  We’ve all used the things that you would or could receive as a gift for that year.  So for example if year 1 was chosen, I could use Paper for traditional and/or modern gifts of clock, plastic, or gold jewelry.  In order to win the image that each designer is working with you will need to:  leave a comment, and guess the correct year.  There is also some bonus questions on the SSD blog.
