Ok, now for my announcement:  I’M AN AUNTIE AGAIN!!!  My totally adorable nephew was born on July 25th.  He was 6 lbs. 7.5 oz., and 19in. long.  He has a ton a of hair, and is just adorable!

A Corner Bookmark!

Good afternoon, hope all is well with you!  I was requested to make a corner bookmark by my daughter.  Now this might seem very normal to you, BUT, Sabrina does not read!  She hates it in fact.  It is a complete ordeal to get her to read when she’s in school.  So, when she asked me I almost fainted.  She has decided to read the Harry Potter books, and boy did she jump right in.  She started yesterday morning, and is almost finished with the 1st one!  So, here is the bookmark she asked for.

She chose this image from Crafts and Me.  She is called Forever Rose.  She also requested the hair be like that.  She also chose the papers.  The challenge on the Crafts and Me challenge blog is to add a flower.  I’m also entering this into the following challenges:

It’s Finally Release Day at SSD

Good morning to you, hope all is well.  Well, after a week of some amazing sneak peeks from the Sassy Studio Designs team, the release is finally here.  I’m sure you’ve guessed by now that this release is based on the Pirates of the Carribean movies.  For this release Amanda gave us a sketch to work with.  We’d love to have you play along.  We are doing a blog hop with this one.  The sketch is from Page Maps.

Sassy Studio Sneak Peek!

Good Sunday morning to you, hope all is well.  Our release is coming up next Saturday and we are getting really excited about it.  Today is the first day of sneak peeks, and I have the new  SYRENA the mermaid for you.

Isn’t she just gorgeous!!!  As you may have been able to tell, this release is all about Pirates.  You won’t want to miss this, Lindsay has done some amazing work!  The sketch is from Sketch Saturday.  And of course she is all colored with copics.  I added some ink around the edges,  oh there is glitter pen in her hair-I LOVE her hair!  I’m also entering this into the following:

Hello, hello!  Sorry I’ve been MIA.  There’s been lots going on at home.  I finally got a chance to do 1 card.  The challenge this week at Sassy Studio Designs is “Red, White, Blue”.  And the challenge on our Paper Craft Planet page is “Plunder yer booty”, which is to use 3 things from your stash.

SSD’s Monthly Christmas Challenge

Good morning to you, hope all is  well.  It’s the first of the month and that means it’s time for another Holiday Challenge at SSD.  Regan has given us a tough one this time-at least for me.  We are supposed to use a non holiday image to make a Christmas card.  This was definitely a challenge for me.  I used the Reading Rachel image from the I’m Every Woman Collection.

The sketch is from Sketches by Carly.  I have to admit, I really enjoyed making a Christmas card, when there was no pressure.  You have a whole month to play along, so make sure you link up your creation, for a chance to win some SSD images.

It’s digi day at Stamp Something today.  The challenge is easy-just use a digi image.  I used the image Pedi Party from the I’m every woman collection.  The sketch is from Deconstructed Sketches.
