Good Thursday morning to you, hope all is well!  It’s time for another challenge at DDSB.  The challenge this week is “swirls”.  This one was so hard for me!  Evidently I don’t do swirls very well.  I did one card, uploaded it for our DT coordinator, and then immediately emailed her and told her I was doing another one-lol.  I was dreaming about that horrible card, so I got up the next morning and got busy.  So, here is the final version:

Victorian Beauty!

YAY!!! It’s Finally…

…release day for Sassy Studio Designs.  This release is “Blast From The Past”.  Lindsay has redone some of discontinued images, and they are AMAZING!!!  I’ve used the new Disco Diva;

Oh my goodness, isn’t she so cool!?  Look at those pants, and that hair-love it!  After searching through my LSS for paper, my daughter pops up with these papers-that she had with her all along-and I thought they were great. 

Ok, onto other stuff.  Amanda has come up with another great game for everyone to play.  All of us have a song title for you, and you have to guess the artist.  All of the songs are a “blast from the past”, so put your thinking caps on(or google) and play along.  My song title for you is “NOW OR NEVER”.  You can email Amanda at tandjstudios(at)gmail(dot)com with your answer, and good luck!

Some Odd Girl Embossing Challenge

Good Friday afternoon, hope all is well with you.  I have another card to share with you.  This image is from Some Odd Girl, from the new release.  This is Love Letter Kaylee.

I used the sketch from the Mojo Monday blog.  The papers are new and from Pinecone Press, and I’m so in love with these papers.  They are truly yummy!  The challenge at Some Odd Girl is embossing.  I embossed the brown piece of cardstock with my cuttlebug folder.  Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Dare To Be Sassy

Good afternoon, hope all is well with you.  This week at SSD Kathy has challenged us to use something that we have hoarded for more than a year.   This challenge was super easy, all I had to do was open my cupboard-lol.  But then I had to decide which hoarded thing I wanted to use-lol. 

My hoarded item is the ribbon slide. Digi Doodle Shop’s Best Challenge #41…

…is to use buttons!  I love buttons, but it seems that whenever I want to use them, I can’t figure out what t do with them-lol!  I used the Strawberries image, and you can find it HERE.

It’s all colored with Copics, a little bit of distress inks around the edges.  The tag is one I found on the internet, and I just added a few buttons on the corners tied with twine.  The ribbon is vintage seam binding, and I’ve stuck a little stick pin through the bow.  Please take a look at what the rest of the team has done, they always do amazing work!  And make sure you play along with the challenges at DDSB, for a chance to win a $10 gift certificate to the store.  And right now the ENTIRE store is half off!  Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
