A Little Honey of A Birthday Card

Good Monday morning to you!  I have an adorable sneak peek for you from Sassy Studio Designs.  We are sponsoring The Crazy Challenge today and their theme is “BIRTHDAY”.  I was so excited when I saw that, since we have this new image being released on the 1st.

A Baby Card With The Character Cafe’

Good Friday afternoon, hope all is well with you.  I’m late in posting this weeks’ feature Friday.  I’ve had some unexpected news to deal with the last few days.  This week I had the job of finding a challenge in blogville.  I chose to use the sketch from Friday Sketchers.

This did not start out as a baby card, but when I was going through my scraps for papers to use, I found these and thought they were perfect.  I used the image “storytime” from The Character Cafe’.  Make sure you check out The Cafe’ Blog to enter in their weekly challenge.  This week is to make a pocket card.  So have fun, and I can’t wait to see what everyone creates.

Anything Goes With Digi Doodle Shop’s Best

Good Thursday morning to you.  I know I haven’t been around much lately-life keeps getting in the way!  Today is challenge day at Digi Doodle Shop.  You get to do anything you want-YES-anything you want.  I had this cute little shoe, and thought it would be perfect as a tag, and of course very girly!  I cut the tag out with my nesties, added the pink side on the back.  The DP is from Michael’s and I LOVE  it-it’s so very girly.  I added some prima’s and some cute little checkered ribbon.  Thanks so much for stopping by and make sure you play along with DDS to have a chance at winning some adorable images.

Rectangle Week at The Character Cafe’

Good Friday morning to you, hope all is well with you!  This month at The Character Cafe’ is Shape month.  We are doing all different shapes and styles this month.  This week is Rectangle week, it’s very simple.  To play along and possibly win some wonderful images you need to do a rectangle.  Cut your paper to 8x8 1/2, score at 4 and voila’ you have a rectangle card. 

I used the adorable new image-Quinn!  Isn’t he just the cutest!!  And I love the sentiment that comes with it!  Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

YAY!!! IT’S FINALLY HERE-SSD RELEASE DAY!

Happy July 1st!  I’m so excited, because it’s finally release day for all these wonderful images that Lindsay has done for us this time around.  We have a few fun things planned for you.  First up because we have a couple of wedding images in here, we thought we would do a OLD/NEW/BORROWED/BLUE challenge.  You just need to use something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue on your project. We will leave the borrowed interpretation up to you. 

For this, my old is my nesties, my new is my image-LITTLE HONEY’S SAILOR, my borrowed is the idea.  One  of my fellow DT members-Marilyn had done one of these and I fell in love with it.  And obviously there’s blue everywhere.  This challenge will run until 6 pm PST on the 2nd to allow time for all of the international fans.  The prize will be 3 SSD images of the winners choosing.

The next challenge is a SCAVENGER HUNT!  You will need to visit each DT members blog to find what your supposed to look for.

  My thing for you to find is a VEIL!!!

Now, for the rules of the scavenger hunt!  NO internet pictures.  You will need to find these things around your house, your friends, family, or a picture of yourself or friend wearing these things.  This contest runs until Midnight PST on July 1st!  Once you’ve found these things you can email me with your pictures.  My email is:  luvs2stamp71@att.net
