Joy Fold Card

Good afternoon, don’t faint!!!  I know-2 posts in one day!  I’ve been very bad about blogging my DT work, so I’m really trying to work on that.  Sassy Studio Designs is sponsoring Crafts 4 Eternity and they only want “Shaped Cards”  Now, before I got my silhouette I would have stayed away from these.  I can’t cut a straight line to save my life-ruler or not!  It’s true!!!  But, since I have my silhouette, they are a breeze.  So, here is what I came up with .

I used the bracket shaped card from the silhouette store.  The papers are from Authentique-aren’t they YUMMY?!  I’m so in love with this line!  I used the polka dot bikini image, and of course colored her in copics.  The banner is also from silhouette.  Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day.

Good morning, hope all is well with you!  We’ve started another challenge over at Card Makin’ Mamas.   It’s time for you to bust out the rubber stamps.  And if your anything like me, it’s been awhile!  I’ve become so addicted to digi stamps for the ease and convenience, that it totally throws me when I use rubber.  I think the last time I used rubber was out last rubber stamp challenge-lol!  Then I had to allow for drying time with the ink-that was an experience.  Oh well!  We are being sponsored by Yumi and Fumi.

These character are absolutely adorable.  They were kind enough to share these little cuties with the design team.  And of course I had to choose one that reminded me of my youngest daughter-Sabrina.  So, this one is called “Fumi with Messenger Bag”

Isn’t she just the cutest!!!  So reminds me of Sabrina.  The background was created with my Silhouette, so was the banner.  Have I mentioned how much I love this thing!!!!  It is amazing, I can do so many more things now-LOVE!

Make A Wish!

Good morning, hope all is well with you!  It’s finally here!  Our new release, did you guess all the teasers right?!    You should have arrived here from the very talented Ruza’s blog.  If you got lost along the way, just pop over to the SSD blog and you can find the line up.  Once again, Lindsay has proven how talented she is.  I mean, did you ever guess we would have Disney pinup images-SO COOL!  Ok, onto some business.  This time around it’s an anything goes challenge as long as you add a “wish” sentiment.   This can be anything…birthday, wedding, baby, new home…anything you’d like!  I was given the Belle pinup  image to work with, and here is what I came up with.

Good evening, hope all is well with you tonight!  It’s finally here…the new release from Sassy Studio Designs..and in case you didn’t notice it’s THE WIZARD OF OZ!!!!  Ok, so we have a tic tac toe to play along with…

I was given the ever so sassy Cowardly Lion to work with.  I did something a little different in that I made a pillow box.

Oh my gosh, she is so stinkin cute!  This little box is perfect for a little something for a friend.  I used the straight up and down column of “ribbon, ruby slippers or something red(the soles of her boots and lips) and flowers”.  We ARE having a contest, that runs until Sunday May 5th, so make sure you comment along the way for a chance to win.

A Wicked Step Card

Good morning, hope all is well with you!  SSD is sponsoring Brown Sugar Challenges and they want to see your “Step or Easel” card.  I’ve only done one other “step”card, and it was not fun.  I can’t cut a straight line to save my life, so if was very difficult for me.  Then I got this awesome Silhouette machine, and it cuts it for me-WOO HOO!!!  So super easy now.

It even cuts all the other parts too-so cool!  Ok, so I used the new Wicked Witch from our OZ collection-isn’t she so sassy!?!  The papers are all ones that I’ve had forever, thankfully they went perfectly.  I know the one flower looks a little off in the picture, but I used it, because of her lips. It looks a lot better in person.

What’s Your Favorite Color?

Isn’t she just too cute!?  She’s all colored up in Copics, with a little bit of pink glitter gel pen streaked in her hair.  The die cuts I actually did with my silhouette.  It sure has been a lot of fun playing with that!  The sketch is from Retro Sketches.

Good morning, hope all is well with you!  Since Lindsay (the owner and artist of SSD) has had some computer issues, we will not be having a release this month.  She is working on getting the new computer up and running and then on new images-YAY!  So….we decided to have a hop showcasing our favorite Sassy Studio Designs image.  Start at the SSD blog and follow the order of the hop.  You should have arrived here from the very talented Tina’s blog. 

So I chose the bathtub image that is now retired.  This has always been of my all time favorite images.  She looks so relaxed!  The image can be used for many different types of projects as well.

Going Forward…Looking Back!

Good morning, hope all is well with you!  We are back and ready to show you some sassiness!  We are doing more Disney Villains with a  Lindsay spin on them!  As you can see it is a 2 day hop.  We split the team in half and each one did one day this weekend.  We thought it might make it easier on you.  And give you plenty of time to hop along!  You should have arrived here from the SSD blog, and when you leave you will be visiting the very talented Starla.  Ok, so here are some rules for you.  You need to visit each person for that day and leave comments along the way.  Make sure you visit the SSD blog as well.  2 Randomly selected people will win 2 of the the new images, and 1 randomly selected person will win all 4!  Now, remember this is for each day, so make sure you do both hops for double the chance to win.

Since it’s the start of the new year, Kim thought we should not only move forward, but take a look back at our favorite SSD creation from last year.  So, for my new part I used the new Maleficent Sassy.

 

Is she Sassy or what???  Since it’s almost Valentine’s Day, I went with a love theme.  The sentiment is from the Fairytale Collection that Lindsay used to have available.  We are supposed to use something of our favorites.  One of mine is this sentiment, the other is my new paper from Authentique.  This is an amazing collection.  I also used some yummy flowers that the wonderful Kim sent to me.  Aren’t they just gorgeous?!  And of course she is all colored in Copics and they are most definitely a fave of mine.  Now for my favorite creation from last year-I’m going to have to go with the Marie Antionette card:
