Tag Swap

Good morning, hope all is well with you. I have 3 tags to share with you. I joined a Tag Swap on SCS. We are supposed to make 5 different tags, 1 style for each group. I've made 3 so far, they are: Baby, Birthday, and Holiday. I've still got 2 more to go, but you'll have to wait until tomorrow to see them. The first one is Halloween. I used a free downloadable paper from The Angel Company, you can find the thread here. It was just put up yesterday and I decided to use one of them for the largest label. They printed out great. The next layer is DCWV, and the last layer is the stamp, it's from Making Memories. This came in a whole set of Halloween stamps. I used a black eyelet to run the ribbon through, and added a couple of jewels. The next one is the Birthday one. Again I used DCWV CS, and the dp is from my stash. I really couldn't tell you who it's by. The stamp(isn't it just the cutest)is one my mom got for me last year. I colored him with Prisma pencils, and added a little bit of stickles. The saying is from Studio G. I added a couple of jewels from Michael's, and an eyelet and fibers that one of my SS sent to me. The last tag is the baby one. This one was a little harder for me because I wanted it to be for a boy or girl. The little umbrella is an embossing folder for the cuttlebug. The green CS is DCWV, and the dp is Making Memories. I added some purple glitter glue to the center of the umbrella, and a few dew drops, and last but not least stapled some polka dot ribbon with a purple staple. Hope you like them, and thanks for looking.

Easter Anya

Good afternoon, hope all is well with you. I finally got to use my Easter Anya from The Greeting Farm. This is one of their digital stamps they offer. Isn't she too cute!? I love the Anya line. I made this one for an Easter Bunny Swap on SCS. This swap was so fun. We got paired up with another player, and we got to send them a box or bag of goodies with an Easter theme. This is the first gate fold card I've ever made and I LOVE them. So, I hope you like it, thanks for looking.

Blog Group Challenge

Good evening, hope all is well with you. I've finally got my card done for my blog group challenge. Our challenge this time was to use a quote or verse as our main image. This was totally new for me. I've never used either one of these, let alone not stamped on my card. But once I got going, it all came together very nicely. I have no stamps with quotes or verses, so I remembered a pack of vellum quotes that I bought along time ago and never used-big surprise there. The CS is DCWV-Red Carpet-bling line. The DP is Paper Adventures. The brads are from Target $1 spot-love that place. The ribbon is from michael's, and the bottom edge is punched with a fiskars edge punch. Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

Our Creative Corner Sketch Challenge

Good afternoon, hope all is well with you. I've actually finished another card this week!! Ok, for me this is a record-3 cards in 1 week. I did this one for the "Our Creative Corner" challenge this week. I've heard about this blog for awhile, but hadn't checked it out until this week. I loved their sketch and decided to play along. I also got to use one of my new Huggabugg stamps from Stamping Bella. If you haven't seen this line of stamps, you need to go look, they are the cutest things. This stamp is called "Love Bug". When I saw the sketch, I new this was the perfect stamp. The CS is DCWV, and the DP is Making Memories. I colored her with Copics, and Bic Mark It's. I accented her hair and antennae with Crystal Stickles. I used my oval nesties to cut the image and mat it. I added dew drops to the corners, and the ribbon is some new ribbon that I got at Walmart. I used my cuttlebug to emboss the yellow mat. Hope you like it, and thanks for looking. I love reading every one's comments, they are very encouraging.

A Little Monster

Good evening, hope all is well with you. This card was made for 2 challenges. The first was for the Sketch Challenge on SCS. The second was for the Cupcake Craft Challenge. The challenge for the cupcake craft blog was to use a monster, didn't matter which one or what it looked like, just to use a monster. I got this monster from All That Scraps. This is a digital image for download. If you haven't seen them, you really should look. They offer all different kinds of digital images. I had gotten him just before I found out what this challenge was, so he was of course the perfect choice. I used the sketch on SCS for this weeks challenge. The Orange CS is DCWV, the purple is from Michael's value pack. The DP is from Imaginisce. The stickers are some that I picked up somewhere-not quite sure where. I colored the image with copic's and Bic mark it's. I used pop dots to make it POP out. Hope you like it and thanks for looking.

House Mouse #30

Good Evening, hope all is well with you. I've made this card for the House Mouse Challenge. This week's challenge was to make a shape card. Well I've was particularly excited to do this challenge since I just purchased a set of shape cards from The Cutting Cafe'. If you haven't heard of this company before, please check them out. They offer digital images for download. Now, I LOVE my stamps, and never thought I would like the digital images. To me they weren't "real" stamps, but I have since changed my mind. First I discovered the digital Anya's, and now The Cutting Cafe. They have some of the cutest images available. And they have great prices. Ok, now that I'm done gushing over these stamps onto my card. I got a whole set of shaped cards, and was dying to use them. I've never done a shape card before, and it was so fun. The House Mouse Image is the January Stamp of the Month. I colored him with prismacolor pencils and used their colorless blender. The marshmallows and the steam are in Crystal Stickles. I used my oval nesties to cut the image out. And the scalloped oval nesties to mat. The white CS is GP, from walmart, the colored CS is DCWV. The ribbon is from my stash, and I did accent around the mat with Crystal Stickles. Thanks for looking, and have a great evening.

Chocolate Challenge

Good afternoon everyone, hope all is well with you. This cupcake card was made for my SCS blogger group #2 challenge. The challenge was to use chocolate. So I immediately thought of a cupcake. Who doesn't love chocolate cupcakes? The image I got in a swap on SCS. All paper is DCWV, the ribbon is from Michael's. I used copics to color the image and stickles to highlight. I used blue dew drops in the upper corner. The silver glitter pen is from MS. Hope you like it, and thanks for looking. Have a great day.

A win, and a new look

Good afternoon, hope all is well with you. I was so excited to find out that I won the House Mouse Challenge last week. Yay me, I never win anything!!!! And the best part: I get the cutest little HM stamp sent to me. And on another note, I'm sure you've seen my new blog look. I decided it was time for a change. There have been so many not fun things going on in my life, that I thought I would like a "FUN" blog. So, hope you like it as much as I do.

An Adorable Ducky Journal

Good evening, hope all is well with you. Isn't this duck the cutest? It is a suzy's zoo duck and I received this image in a swap on SCS, so I don't know the actual name of it-sorry! So I made this journal for the challenge on the Cupcake Craft Challenges Blog. This weeks theme was Spring-anything Spring. I actually started making this journal for last weeks challenge, which was in inspirational picture. Although it didn't make it for that one, it went perfect for this week. I had a whole different concept in mind, but didn't work out. Oh well, live and learn. All CS is DCWV,and the Dp is making memories. I used my new nesties, not sure what they are called, but I love them. The flower and leaf stamps are from CTMH. The actual flowers are from Michael's. They are something I bought on stems. I used jewels from Kaiser Scrapbook. The glitter glue is Icicle Stickles. I colored the image with Bic Mark-Its, and copics. Hope you like it and thanks for looking. Oh, thank you for all the sweet comments about my poor Ashlee. You'll be happy to know that it is healing very well. We've been putting aloe vera on it, and have Vitamin E for after, so there won't be any scarring. Thanks again for your well wishes.

Anya Sketch Challenge #2

Good afternoon!!! Don't you just love Anya? If you haven't heard of her, she is a line of stamps from The Greeting Farm. They are the cutest stamps, there is also a little boy:Ian. He is adorable too. This stamp is from the Miss Anya set. On the Club Anya blog they host a challenge every couple of weeks. This week it was a sketch challenge, so it was a perfect opportunity to use my new set. The CS is DCWV, the DP is Smitten by K&Co. The ribbon is from Michael's, and the jewels are also from Michael's. I colored her with Copics and Bic Mark-its. She is highlighted with Icicle Stickles. I also got to use my new nesties set, and LOVE them. Hope you like it and thanks for looking.

Pink Saturday

Good morning, hope all is well with you. First of all I must apologize for not having this posted earlier like I was supposed to. I knew what I was going to do, and was coming in the house to take the picture of my daughter's blanket, when she ran into a piece of barbed wire. So, that took up the rest of my evening. She is OK, it looks a lot worse than it is. I was going to use her blanket anyway, but after this, I took a picture of it with her in it. She was so worried about having to have stitches again, that she didn't mind everything else. She made this blanket about a year ago. She did it by herself and since then hasn't stopped making them. They make her so happy!!! She's made them for her sister, dad, me, and a teacher. I guess I should tell you about this Pink Saturday thing. It is a blog that my mom sent me too. I'm sure she did this because I love all things pink. Anyway, on Saturday's she has you post something pink, it can be anything, as long as you like it. So I hope you like Ashlee's blanket and thanks for looking.

House Mouse Combined Challenge

Good evening, hope all is well with you. I've combined 2 challenges in 1. The House Mouse challenge this week was to use chipboard on your card. For me this was very hard. Although I have tons of chipboard things, I don't use them. They always feel too big, or just don't fit my theme. So I found one of these little tags that I got from the dollar section at Joann's, and thought it fit pretty good. Although, I must tell you, I went through every piece I had and didn't like anything. The second part of this challenge was the Sketch Challenge on SCS. The image is from one of the many swaps I like to sign up for, and the CS, and DP is DCWV. The ribbon is from my stash. And I colored my image with watercolor crayons. I was inspired to use them when I saw a card Gina's blog in which she used her watercolor crayons. I remembered that I had some of those, so I finally used them again. Hope you like it, thanks for looking.

Geisha Anya

Good afternoon everyone, hope all is well with you. I've finally finished another card. This one is for the SCS sketch challenge. I haven't been able to participate in this in quite awhile. It was so fun, but I must tell you that the whole circle part was quite a challenge for me, not sure why, but it was. so I used the Geisha Anya from The Greeting Farm stamp co. If you haven't seen this company's stamps, you really need to take a look. They are the cutest things. Of course I've had to order from them several times. The CS and DP are both DCWV. I finally found the Far East stack from DCWV. I've been looking for this forever, and Joann's finally got it in. It's totally perfect for this adorable little stamp. Oh and did I mention that this is a digital stamp. What could be better, instant gratification. They offer several digital stamps along with unmounted ones. So, I hope you like it, thanks for looking, and let me know what you think.

My First Anya Card

Good evening, hope all is well with you. I have an Anya card to share with you tonight. If you don't know who Anya is, then you are missing out on something great. Anya is a character from The Greeting Farm stamp line. They are absolutely adorable. There is also an Ian line, and he is too cute also. I actually made this card a couple of weeks ago, and it's been sitting here. I just haven't had the time to post it. I made it for one their sketch challenges, but did not get to enter it in that. Oh Well!!!! That just means I actually have something to post now. I hope you like it, and thanks for looking. P.S. you really should check out these adorable stamps.

House Mouse Sketch Challenge #25

Good morning, hope all is well with you. I've finally finished a card. As many of you know, my MIL has been in the hospital. And that has been taking up every bit of my time. Yesterday I had to stay home and get my daughter's school work together(she's home schooled). So while we were doing that, I actually got a minute to make something. It felt so good to do something else besides sit and worry. This is for the House Mouse Monday Challenge. These are so much fun, if you haven't checked them out, you should-you'll be hooked. This week was a sketch challenge, and I have to say these are my favorite. I got to use one of my new stamps, isn't it adorable?! I tried to use colors that I don't usually use. I kinda get stuck in the "girly" colors, so this was a little difficult for me but I really like how it turned out. The CS is DCWV, and DP is DCWV-glitter stack. The ribbon is from my stash. Hope you like it, and thanks for looking.

I've been tagged!!!

Hello again, it seems I've been tagged. Karen tagged me a few days ago, but since I've been a little busy I just saw the post. So, I was supposed to go to my 6th picture folder and my 6th picture in there, and tell you a little bit about it. It just so happens it's of my adorable son. Him and his sisters, and cousins love to make movies. And of course they play like they are in the army, and pretty much anything to do with guns. Well the other day he was by himself and bored so he decided to camouflage himself and his gun. Isn't he too cute? So of course I had to grab my camera. I love the cute little things he does, and hope you like it too. Now I have to tag 6 other people. So here it goes:
So have fun everyone, can't wait to see your pics

House Mouse Challenge #23

Hello everyone, hope all is well with you. I've been very busy with my Mother In Law, she's been very sick. But my sister in law is here now and giving me a little bit of a break. So I finally got to finish a challenge. This has been sitting on my table all week half finished. This is for the House Mouse Challenge Blog. The theme for this week is Valentine's Day. I just ordered this stamp and was so happy to use it. I used Pink CS from DCWV, Dp from DCWV. I used a border punch from Fiskars for the bottom border, under that I used a lavender heart embossed paper. The yellow cs is from Michael's pack, white cs is GP. I colored the image with Prismacolors, and blended with baby oil. The ribbon is actually from the Dollar Tree. Brads are from Target dollar spot. Oh yeah, I almost forgot about the jewels, they are from Michael's. I inked the edges with ink from MS. Hope you like it, and have a great day.

Altered Pail

Good afternoon everyone, hope all is well with you. I've made this pail for my Valentine's Day Secret Sister swap on SCS. I joined this swap and it is so much fun. You've already seen what I got from my SS, now I get to send this pail full of goodies off to mine. I was looking through my punches for a heart punch, and found this one. I totally forgot I bought it. It's really neat, it's by EK success. It doesn't actually cut the image out, it kind of cuts an outline, and then another heart on the inside. I'm sure I'm not explaining this very well, but it's really cute. Hope you like it and thanks for looking. I forgot that I altered this little can too. Isn't it cute?

House Mouse Challenge #21

Oh my goodness, I've been going through withdrawls not doing the house mouse challenges. So here is the newest one. This week was a color challenge. The colors to use were coral, navy and olive. This was a challenge for me, I'm not used to using those colors together at all. But it was very fun. I received this image in a swap, isn't it cute!! This is also for my SCS blogging group #6. We were given a fantastic sketch to work with. I used olive cs for the card, and layered the coral and navy. The image is layered on olive cs, and then on a white cuttlebugged background. I sponged navy ink around the edges of the image and over the cuttlebugged background. The flowers are from the $1 section from Joann's. The sentiment is from Impression Obsession. I put it on a scalloped nestability. The brad is a glitter one I got from Joann's, and finished it off with 3 jewels from Michael's. Oh I forgot, I used deckle edge scissors on the right edge, and sponged white ink around the edge. Hope you like it, and thanks for looking. Sorry, the picture isn't the greatest.

I love these stamps, and just received my very first order of them. I kept it very simple, because of all the chaos going on. Hope you like it. Have a great day.

This was the first swap like this that I joined up for and let me tell you it was so fun!!!! I got this from Ms.Rhetta, she did a wonderful job. I got several studio G stamp sets, pop dots, candy, Michael's GC in the cutest little holder. She also sent these little glass bottles, that are darling. I got a set of empty ones, and a set of ones that were filled with glitter, and small dewdrops. She sent several rolls of ribbon, and a nail bottle with brads. Thank you Ms.Rhetta, I loved everything. Have a wonderful day everyone.

House Mouse Challenge #17

Good afternoon, hope all is well with you. Yesterday was supposed to be the new challenge on the House Mouse Monday Challenge Blog, but they were having computer problems and got it up today. Let me tell you, I was worrying-I do love the challenges. Anyway, today's challenge is SNOW-paper, snowflakes, whatever. It just had to have snow. So, I got to use my new HM stamp, isn't it cute?! My snow is the glitter everywhere, and the snowflake jewels, and snowflake paper. The CS is DCWV, the script dp is Kaiser Scrapbook, and the snowflake dp is Imaginisce-I hope I spelled that right. I colored with prisma pencils, and Martha Stewart glitter markers-love these too. The ribbon is from Joann's, when it was on clearance last year after Christmas. Hope you like it, TFL, and let me know what you think.

Paula's Blog Candy!!!

Oh wow, you guys have to check this out. I just found her blog from one one my SCS blog groups. She has the most adorable woodland elf images, and she has some amazing blog candy right now. So go check out Paula's blog, I promise you won't be disappointed.

Cupcake Craft Challenge Blog

Good evening, hope all is well with you. I've discovered a new blog. It's called Cupcake Craft Challenges. They have a new challenge every Monday. This week was a sketch challenge. So I used this as another excuse to get another Christmas card done. I picked up this stamp set when we were in Medford, OR. visiting friends. It's Winter Birds by inkadinkadoo, and they are beautiful, and I've dying to use them. I embossed the stamp in Dark Night EP from sparkles and sprinkles. I don't think you can really tell in the picture but it's the most beautiful shade of midnight blue, and it's shimmery. The blue CS is Bazzill Bling, and some silver metallic cs that I've had forever. This ribbon is from Joann's, and a clear snowflake-not sure where I got this at. I stamped some silver snowflakes on the blue bg, these are from Studio G. The sentiment is from a set I got at Michael's last year. And of course there's the bling from Michael's also. So, I hope you like it, let me know what you think.

Christmas Bella Style #2

Good afternoon, hope all is well with everybody. Well, I'm finally on a roll with getting Christmas cards and goodies done. I seem to get things done, when I'm running out of time. I hate that, I try to get them done earlier, but never works out. Stamping Bella is celebrating their 2nd anniversary, so in celebration they had a bash on SCS, and gave us challenges to do. I combined 2 of them. This first was to use the Bella signature colors: Pink and Green. This was so not hard for me, since they are my 2 favorite colors. The second was a sketch challenge. So this is what I came up with. The Green cardstock is Bazzill Bling in "Bank Roll", I'm in love with this paper. The dp is Daisybucketdesigns, I got last year at my LSS. The stamp is of course Stamping Bella-wreathabella, which I got in a swap. The sentiment is a studio G 1 dollar stamp from Michael's. The bling and ribbon is also from Michael's. The colored cardstock is also DCWV. I used my nestabilities to do the scallop square. The gold circle stickers are Class A Peel's. The buttons I got last year at the scrapbook expo-no idea who they are by. Thank you for looking, hope you like it. Please leave a comment and let me know what you think.

House Mouse Glitter Tag

Good evening, hope all is well with you. I made this tag for the House Mouse Monday Challenge. This week's challenge was to use glitter, glitz, whatever sparkles, and the more the better. I'll admit I don't have that much. I kinda cheated, well not really-maybe!? I started my card with a very cute image. I got it all colored and glittered, and started to make it, and decided that I did not like it AT ALL. I tried everything to fix it, change it, mat it, anything and everything. And I still did not like it. But it was getting to late to do a whole other image, so I did this little tag. I know, I know, I'm sure it's not exactly what they are looking for, but it'll have to do in a pinch. I used Bazzill Bling CS in High Heels, and crystal stickles, and lime stickles. The ribbon is gold glittery that I had in my stash. Hope you like it and thanks for looking.

Blog Group Challenge #4

Good evening, I hope all is well with you. I've actually completed another project today. This was for my blog group challenge on SCS. This is our 4th challenge and it is being hosted by Sue from Sue's Sentiments. Our challenge was to use black and white only. I've never done a card like this before, but have always wanted too. So I finally got my chance, and I have to say I am very pleased with my card. I really like the way it turned out. I embossed the trees on black paper with Winter Wonderland embossing powder by Stampendous. I cuttlebugged the white bg paper. The ribbon is from my stash, and the jewels are from Michael's $1 package. So thank you Sue for the fun challenge. Hope you guys like it. Please let me know what you think.

Season's Greetings-Bella Style

Happy Saturday afternoon everybody. This card was done for the Bella sketch challenge over on SCS, which is hosted by Jamie. She does an amazing job on these sketches. So if you haven't checked these out, you really should. Well, she used ovals in her sketch, but I don't have any oval nesties yet, so I used circles. Hope I don't get in too much trouble-hehe. This image is Merrybella, which I received in a swap, isn't she cute? The snowflake is from one of those clear sets at wal-mart right now, and then I put those clear tiles on top of those. I used small gold circle stickers from stampendous class a peels. The bling is from Michael's dollar packages, the ribbon is from my stash. The sentiment is from studio g christmas sets. And I used my circle punch to do the corners. It's pretty simple, but I think it turned out really cute. Let me know what you think, I love reading your comments. Have a great day.
