Altered Pail

Good afternoon everyone, hope all is well with you. I've made this pail for my Valentine's Day Secret Sister swap on SCS. I joined this swap and it is so much fun. You've already seen what I got from my SS, now I get to send this pail full of goodies off to mine. I was looking through my punches for a heart punch, and found this one. I totally forgot I bought it. It's really neat, it's by EK success. It doesn't actually cut the image out, it kind of cuts an outline, and then another heart on the inside. I'm sure I'm not explaining this very well, but it's really cute. Hope you like it and thanks for looking. I forgot that I altered this little can too. Isn't it cute?

House Mouse Challenge #21

Oh my goodness, I've been going through withdrawls not doing the house mouse challenges. So here is the newest one. This week was a color challenge. The colors to use were coral, navy and olive. This was a challenge for me, I'm not used to using those colors together at all. But it was very fun. I received this image in a swap, isn't it cute!! This is also for my SCS blogging group #6. We were given a fantastic sketch to work with. I used olive cs for the card, and layered the coral and navy. The image is layered on olive cs, and then on a white cuttlebugged background. I sponged navy ink around the edges of the image and over the cuttlebugged background. The flowers are from the $1 section from Joann's. The sentiment is from Impression Obsession. I put it on a scalloped nestability. The brad is a glitter one I got from Joann's, and finished it off with 3 jewels from Michael's. Oh I forgot, I used deckle edge scissors on the right edge, and sponged white ink around the edge. Hope you like it, and thanks for looking. Sorry, the picture isn't the greatest.

Blogger group 6-challenge 1

Hello again!! I made this very simple card for my blogger group #6. Again it took me forever, but it's here. I love this stamp, it's Sarah Kay-my sweet lili. I love these stamps, and just received my very first order of them. I kept it very simple, because of all the chaos going on. Hope you like it. Have a great day.

Altered Pail Swap

Good afternoon everyone, hope all is well with you. I've finally got something to post-yay!!!! After the holidays, my computer died, and then I couldn't find my camera. Does anyone else have these days, weeks, months, or is just me?! LOL Anyway, I received this pail with all these wonderful goodies in a swap I did on SCS. This was the first swap like this that I joined up for and let me tell you it was so fun!!!! I got this from Ms.Rhetta, she did a wonderful job. I got several studio G stamp sets, pop dots, candy, Michael's GC in the cutest little holder. She also sent these little glass bottles, that are darling. I got a set of empty ones, and a set of ones that were filled with glitter, and small dewdrops. She sent several rolls of ribbon, and a nail bottle with brads. Thank you Ms.Rhetta, I loved everything. Have a wonderful day everyone.

Sabrina's Pencil Holder

Good Morning everyone, hope all is well with you. This is just a quick post to show you the pencil holder I made for my youngest daughter Sabrina. She wanted colored pencils for Christmas, and asked that I make her one of these to hold them in. I made one of these for my other daughter and Sabrina wanted one too. Her favorite colors are purple and green. She loves fairies too and picked the image. She loves it, hope you like it too.

House Mouse #20

Well Hello Everyone, how are all of you!? It feels like forever since I've posted anything, probably because it has been-lol. I finally finished the House Mouse Monday Challenge, which I thought was just going to be late, but imagine my surprise when I checked to see what the new challenge was and it was to finish this one-yeah me!!! I'm on time anyway. So this challenge was to use embossing. I embossed the image, and then embossed the yellow background with red glitter. I also embossed the cherries that are floating around. Well thanks for looking and have a great day.
